THE TM MWS thread
Uncle Pauly and 3 others reacted to SSPKali for a topic
I have 6 but rarely run them all. In CQB type games I can use 2 - 2.5 in all. I often change mags in a lull in the fighting before they are empty just so I don't get caught out. Woodland games are a bit different, especially on windy days but if you know the limits of the platform it isn't too bad. If you are sensible and only shoot at what you can see / hit 35rds goes a long way.4 points -
Yep, I have a TM M4 and pistol speed loaders and they fill the mags fine, you just get huge thumb muscles ??2 points

Weather is saying 14c for Sunday. Damn that’s cold! Guess autumn is finally upon us. Abbey ultra predator gas should be fine I assume? On a bb loading note, I’ve just got a Marui XL speed loader come in today. It’s still kinda tough loading the mags. That spring is one tough mother that’s for sure. Is that what people are generally using to load their mags?1 point

Don't. I've already got one fully 3d printed gun in the works and that's being a bigger ball ache than expected. This was just to check the proportions.1 point -

You just skipping the 3D printing SCAR accessories part and just 3D printing the whole thing?1 point -
If you've had your mags for 2 months they will be the type 2 new mag so will hold more gas than the original mags so my take on this is that the green gas mod isn't needed....1 point

Normal green gas is just propane with silicon added..... I normally run 7. 6-8 is about right anymore than that and you have more money invested in the mags than in the blooming gun.1 point -

Angry gun adjustable Nozzle or Npas or widebore barrel or shorter barrel (which is not the best option)or you have to wait until the winter brings the cold :,D Maintenance ,depends on what type of oil or grease you prefer . In my opinion: - Teflon grease on the Piston Head - Heavy Oil on the Trigger Unit - Light Oil for Bolt,Buffer Tube I hope it helps !1 point

I've just put my first proper WW2 kit together after years of spending all my money on guns instead... I went for a British Commando look mostly because... Well I'll be honest, it was the cheapest. And having just mostly drained my funds getting the new Northeast Sten MkV, it needed to be! It considerably helped cost wise that I already had the bergen, scarf, and got the boots off my dad, from his time in the navy. I will be replacing those ill-fitting gaiters as soon as possible. For a more early war look, removed the scarf and grabed the M1928. Now I've just got to get to a game in it!1 point -

I wasted about a mag(hi cap) on a "teflon terrorist"(rental) yesterday.I took out everyone around him,he flinched when I suprised him from behind at distance,he then moved tyres to hide behind and guess what...he was one of the last ones in.It was a warning of things to come as he was involved in near fisticuffs at the end of the day..closest I've seen to phsyical contact,I advised the marshall to step in,it's not needed at any site.0 points
