I’ve done very, VERY irresponsible thing, considering the neck deep shit I will be in if my workplace closes down due to next lockdown... I’ve got ANOTHER gun but the deal was way too good to pass on as I was planning on getting one eventually. Pretty much half price Ares SOC-AR - sure it’s a bit worn but it only adds character ? will be here next week hopefully!3 points

So this guy has this TM delta for sale. He wants £850 for it. The same gun was on sale previously for £525. He did a px for something this guy had and paid cash to make up the diff. Now this guy is selling the same gun for £300 more. Taking the pi$$ I’d say! https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rifles-smg-s-for-sale/ebb-rifles-smg-s/3178484-tm-416 Update: Ooooops, There were an additional £300 in upgrades done to it...... duh. There you go folks I should have had all the facts before going on a rant lol2 points

Update on my URGI build... The genuine Magpul SL-K stock arrived from Brownells. Bought a clone Unity Tactical Mount, which although it looks pretty awkward having an optic mounted that high up IMO. However it works perfectly and having the optic mounted at this height is extremely comfortable! I also picked up a WADSN DBAL-A2 and a dual pressure switch to work alongside my M300 light. It's a snug fit but I managed to get everything on the rail where I wanted it. This DBAL-A2 is the polymer one which initially put me off, but it's much cheaper than the G&P version of which I've had two in the past and although they get rave reviews I was never that impressed with them. Secondly if I was that bothered with polymer over metal I'd never buy a TM pistol! ? Overall I'm really impressed with it and after putting quite a few bb's through the MWS zeroing the crossfire on it's new mounted, the DBAL-A2 seemed to gold its own zero. I will update this after a few games, but what with the new lockdown I doubt that will be for a while! After a recommendation from a mate I ordered a G&P aluminium buffer, this comes with three weights which you can add or remove as required. Again when I get chance I will record the various weights and compare them with the stock buffer. A couple of UAC sealing buffers to add to my spares list, currently trying to pick up a spare TM nozzle but looks like stock is zero everywhere! Lastly I've got a HAO Industries lightweight BCG on order after a very positive review from ATRG's blog. Will get that fitted with the G&P buffer and give my review also. Here's a few photo's, sorry for the crappy kitchen floor backdrop, it's howling outside and the best I could do on a Sunday morning!2 points

In Ear Active Hearing Protection and Comms - Racal Frontier Headsets
MartinWoods reacted to dykm2 for a topic
I've been lurking here a while, and I've had a lot of comments about these Racals, so I decided it's about time I actually joined and posted something (hopefully interesting to the community). So I got fed up with breaking and fixing repro comms kit for myself and the team, (now on my 6th headset in 2 years playing). But I didn't want to fork out £500 on peltor comtacs. I'm sure many of you can relate to this. I found real steel Racal Frontier headsets being sold off dirt cheap. The catch being they come with a lemo connector for military prr radios. I read the threads on the lemo connectors and the price of adaptors and custom PTTs and thought what the heck, I'm going to have a go at modifying a set to work with a TP-120 / u-94 ptt. So a bit of experimentation later, I figured out a tidy way of doing it. I've done a few with with a Kenwood 2 pin cable to go straight into a Baofeng, retevis etc. radio. I've also done a few with genuine peltor tp120 cables to go into a u94 PTT on your shoulder. And I have to say, I'm dead chuffed with the results. The custom ear moulds are made from polymorph plastic. It melts in hot water and is hand (or in-your-ear) mouldable. The headsets are pretty slick. They electronically allow talk through, but limit the volume, the radio comes in your left ear and the cool bit is the microphone picks up from inside your right ear. Even at a whisper. I also like that there isn't a big can on your ear getting in the way of your cheek weld! The set on my plate carrier is my first off. The ones with the curly cables are a later version where I've managed to do all the mods inside the control box so the cable is all intact right into the control box. Anyway there's my show and tell, I'd be interested to see what you guys think! PS. The diagram in the background is a different project - Music phone and comms in my snowboard helmet (don't try and put that in a Racal!) PPS. If there's interest in these I'll put a post in the Classifieds.1 point -

THE TM MWS thread
Wild Weasel reacted to RMDavis for a topic
I intend on using the TM nozzle and only have experience with that part. ATRG's review also uses the stock nozzle and he seemed impressed. https://atrg.blog/2020/10/19/accessory-review-hao-geissele-rebcg-ecoline-for-marui-zet-mws-gbbr/ Thats good to know mate, I will certainly check that out! My dbal-a2 is red laser, ir laser, and white light, all functions appear to be working correctly. I will put up my thoughts when the HAO bolt arrives and see how it gets on with the G&P buffer. ?1 point -

I ended up with the wadsn dbal, does yours work on low power (green laser)? If you search for William Hicks on Facebook he's had extensive testing with the g&p buffer and he reckons the best setup is with a geissele automatics type 42 tungsten weight from Brownell's and has a video of him in 0°c mag dumping, zero cooldown. Also with a slight bit of movement in the buffers internal weights stops bolt bounce and jams. I've got the hao Econoline bolt enroute too, let us know when yours arrives and what you think please. Cheers.1 point -
I also kind of want one of these as a spare to much about with and to try and get to as high joules as possible. What is the optimal nozzle setup to run in it? Guns modify?1 point

That’s super cool! Any chance you could drop us some samples of audio? I mean that whispering with in-ear microphone you’ve mentioned, how does it sound on the other end. But I wouldn’t call lack of cans a pro... those ear shots hurt man! ?1 point

Oh look, ANOTHER month of lockdown - because obviously last 3 months weren’t a colossal waste of time and money and didn’t cost thousands of jobs in the process... SMH, anyone hiring? I don’t feel like I’m going to make it through next redundancy wave...1 point

Double Eagle M904G (Honey Badger). Less than £120 delivered from Taiwangun. This thing is a lot of gun for less than some places sell Raven Glocks. Solid build, flat trigger with intuitive programmable mosfet (battery protection, 2 - 5 round burst, trigger sensitivity and binary mode). Quick change spring (was sent firing right around 340fps as advertised). Heck, it even comes wired to deans! I don't think it'll replace my Scorpion Evo (which BTW was three times the price) but if I was a new player and/or on a budget I'd happily use this at every skirmish. As it stands it'll serve as a backup or loaner.1 point -
Little maglite widget that happens to fit in SureFire scout lights to add polycarb protection came in yesterday. New Evo came in today, old one'll be for sale just a heads-up haha.1 point

10% off at BZTactical for orders over £100 with code HALLOWEEN until the end of the weekend. https://www.bztactical.co.uk/ Personally used it to get their ASG MP9 A1 which I reckon is a good deal because it's a low power version. Normally you need to shell out another £50 for a CQB bolt to make these skirmishable.1 point -
