In case you cant tell. I rather like revolvers. The holsters were made by me. The other revolvers will be getting them as well.3 points -

Just taking a few pics of everything in the collection to catagolize it, so I'll join with that AK GHK AKMs with steel outer, steel trigger unit parts, recoil kit, steel hopup unit, steel LCT PBS-1, Ra-Tech wood grip, a bunch of GHK mags and 2 ProWin mags (which must be the most stupid design for a 3rd-party mag-rebuild ever, you cannot fill them with gas without a fairly long adapter piece for the gas bottle )2 points

I find it amusing when in the classifieds people who are selling multiples of one item say '£X each or all 5 for £Z' When the buy all price is exactly what the individual cost would be if multiplied by the number of items. Why word it like its got a multibuy discount?1 point

I appreciate the skill involved in all your work....... but this hurts my eyes, you just can't unsee some things!!!!!1 point -
New slide in place, needs a bit of use to get it running as smoothly as I would like it to. Overall, it’s glitzy enough and seems to be chronoing fine at 330fps on Red gas. FPS drops rapidly after a few shots but it’s 4* outside and my bench is right next to a draughty fire escape. Front sight needs glueing and the magwells still aren’t here..1 point

Remington 1875 Frontier Army Remingtons failed (but by many accounts better) attempt to cash in on the colt single action army. Started life as a 177 airgun. A few bits machined and it's now an airsoft gun with a fixed hop. I *think* it's the only airsoft one so far. Ideally I'd like to change the colour and hydrodip the grips wood or paint them more like bone. But this is now my primary airsoft "weapon".1 point -

That's pretty cool. The semi modernised look is definitely my favourite for the M14. A friend in the states built this recently1 point -
Classic meets modern. It's a shame I have to wrap it in scrim net and my leafy elastic rifle wrap thing as I love how it looks, but if I'm in my ghillie, so too does my rifle have to dress like a bush. Solved the issue of the RAS handguard kit tilting the scope up. Cut the part that fixes to the side of the receiver, as the top screw keeps it in place more than enough, and put on a normal scope mount that I know keeps the scope nice and straight. It's a workout gun though. Thing weighs an absolute tonne and is very front heavy thanks to the bipod, rail handguard and the m14 being front heavy in the first place. However, I'm very happy to have the bipod for when I'm in a hide and needing to keep this behemoth up and level. Yes, I actually use bipods while sniping.1 point

Small update of my Specnas and AAP Bottom left is my wanker gun (Titan, 28.5RPS and ludicrous response), top 933 is slightly less wanker at 27.5 RPS and runs on a Warfet. the Magpul handguard is definitely NOT FDE -.- can't complain though, it's PTS and got it for €9. More comfortable to hold than the standard 933 handguard.1 point -

After a bit of wear and an engraving service (I know the font isn't quite right but I'm happy with it) I also improved the hop so it shoots 0.25 quite well.1 point

I got my complete G&P bolt today 1 hour before leaving for my CQB game and so was able to test it. As @AlphaBear mentioned before, the machining is of very high quality. The screw with the C-clip also sits around 1mm away from the bolt instead of flush, so I reckon this is some kind of design decision. Initial thoughts are that it is indeed completely drop-in unlike the Angrygun bolt was for me (dodgy sealing buffer meant shitty firing rate and sticky nozzle). I got a 0.30J increase in power which was unexpected and not entirely welcome since I originally intended to use this bolt for my CQB arena and install the G&P adjustable valve in my stock bolt to use outdoors as a DMR, but it seems like I'll have to figure something else out. I only tested with 0.25g bb's, but I was consistently getting between 98 and 101 m/s, so around 1.28 and 1.32 joules. It was very consistent , I would get 101-102 m/s with a fully filled mag with green gas, and after 10-15 shots, it would settle to around 98-99m/s. Also, I noticed a distinct change in how the gun sounds when firing. I'm pretty sure this bolt is louder the stock MTR bolt, and it has a distinct metallic sound when firing which is really satisfying which the Angrygun bolt definitely didn't have. I wonder if this is due to the roller bolt design? Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I'm glad that it worked OOTB and didn't require any fitting or anything. Also interesting to note, the G&P bolt didn't engage my hop up dial like the Angrygun one did (the AG bolt would literally decrease my hop from 60% to 0% in a magazine or two), so I'm staying well away from AG internals for the MWS to be honest.1 point

THE TM MWS thread
Mr Dellski reacted to SSPKali for a topic
Epic post incoming! So I have fitted all the WiiTech trigger group to my MWS. I purchased this RIF second hand and it had been well used (to be polite!) and I had to give it a good clean out and service the mags as the empty levers weren't moving due to dirt/sand in them! The trigger box was in a similar state but after a strip down, clean and lube up it wasn't too bad, certainly nothing to write home about but better than it had been. Spin forward a year and I purchased a WiiTech marksman sear and fitted that...only to find that it didn't work (2 light strikes rather than a crisp break ?) so I removed that, replaced the worn TM semi-sear and shimmed the sear, hammer and trigger pivots to eliminate some of the play and torsion binding that wasn't helping the trigger feel. Last month I splashed out £60 for a WiiTech hammer and hammer&sear spring kit from the great Fire-Support thinking that this might play nicer with the Marksman sear. I tried this with the Marksman sear and still had the same, dangerous, issues. So in a fit of crazyness I purchased a complete set of WiiTech trigger parts direct from the manufacturer, excluding the hammer and hammer&sear springs, but including a regular semi-sear. After 2 weeks and an extra £12 to ParcelFarce I had the parts in my hand. The material and finish quality is the same as the other parts; ie smooth, precision machining and black chemical finish. I fitted the parts after thoroughly cleaning the trigger box shell and the parts I was keeping in. I used some Graphite lock lubricant on the parts as I assembled them as it is meant to lubricate precision mechanisms and the "dry" formula won't attract dirt like oil or grease do. Top tip - wear gloves, it gets *everywhere* and don't lean too close when spraying it as it is a powerful jet and you will end up with a shiny face if not careful! With the parts fitted I tested it out of the receiver (sans trigger pin) and there was a smooth, crisp pull and no slop. Reset was positive and audible, it not quite as crisp as the let off point. Once I had it all reassembled I tested it and hit the only snag...with the AngryGun ambi selector semi was full auto too ?? I replaced it with the stock TM one and it worked fine, I think it wasn't allowing the disconnector to rise enough, I tried fettling it but gave up and stuck with the stock TM one. I shoot lefthanded but can still manipulate a right handed selector. Note self: Never buy AG stuff I have included a video below of a before and after video and one showing the trigger reset. I have also hosted the after vids on Instagram, search alex_random_76 In short, although it probably cost me £170 all in it is worth every penny. WiiTech trigger parts can go on the list with SixG parts, Hao Mk16 rail, RATech black NPAS and DynamicPrecision lightweight bolt that is titled "MWS upgrade parts that actually work and are worth spending money on" It isn't a long list ? 20201021_141414.mp4 20201021_150510.mp4 20201021_152138.mp41 point -
As some of you asked for fotos of my collection, I took a few pics ? We restored a house a few years ago and I got the rare opportunity to turn a room into my personal little "museum". The only downside: The showcases are full already... ? As mentioned in the new members thread, I'm a collector for quite some time now and I'm interested in anything that's odd / old / rare / shellejecting / japanese / gasdriven in general and recently got a knack for a bit more steel here and there. Unfortunately, the showcases in the middle still lack lighting ? Disclaimer: Everything in that room is legal and according to german laws, the guns themselves aswell as the showcases, which are locked, when I'm not there. The guns outside the showcases are 0.5 joules, so they don't fall under german gun laws, but are categorized as toys.1 point

Yeah modded mine too. Just annoyed the correct trades didnt come out as well as I was hoping. I did set it up as a Mk3.... but then a few pics arose of the Mk2 type. And was surprised to see still using the looped hammer. So thought I'd stick with the early mk2 until the WE mk3 came out.1 point -

@GothicGhost i bet thats actually quite effective camo in use! Finally got around to assembling the G36C, on the whole very happy with the build, although i think im going to have to swap the X-ASR for a Pico AAB, the internal rollback noise of the gears to the anti reversal latch drives me mad on semi!! Of all the colours i feel the FDE on the mags is the least effective, its too bright i feel, ive got some good ol' Humbrol Dark brown (FDE) aerosol which il prop spritz them with as its such an awesome FDE in use. The whole layout of the gun colouring was to blend with myself / Pencott Greenzone at the rear of the gun, and wrapping the gun around trees/fortifications/dirt etc at the front end.1 point

The old girl got a face-lift In all honesty I've been wanting to do a KWA Vector build for forever. I've lurked on the FB page for some time now, and had an idea of what I wanted to do, but I knew one thing was needed for sure before I invested time and money into the project - an HPA drum. Ive tried the GBB primary route and despised it for a single reason - the mags. Thats why Ive converted so many of my GBBs to Daytonas - WE Masada, VFC M27, etc. Especially here in the States, where its all about highcaps and volume of fire (I do miss UK airsoft; running around The Mall with my TM GBB MP7 or dual pistols...). While I dont need 1000 shots to get a hit, 40ish shots was a bit too little, especially when you go to reload and find your mag has leaked all the gas out. So a drum is a must. As such, my Vector has sat, and sat. Then, I got an offer. It was a bit steep IMO but I took it, and then I was the proud owner of a broken Reaper Airsoft Customs drum mag for the Vector. Let the build begin! The repair ended up being easy - a lot of epoxy and drying time and it was good to go. I didnt want to use a cheap China clone for a sight like I have on some of my builds - Ive had Daytonas throw off their zeros before. So I used a spare Vortex Sparq AR red dot I had. Magpul MOE irons and AFG2 mod to match my real Vector, Ace1Arms right hand mag release (so much easier when using the drum), replica Surefire M600DF light and my signature blue-lasered PEQ hooked up to a dual pressure switch. I also had to add a 45* rail for the torch so that I could still fold the stock. I have a Defiance .45 ACP suppressor but I am unsure if I will use it due to not needing an increased inner barrel due to FPS gains... Cover the remaining rails with ladder covers and add a sling swivel stock pin and the build is (externally) done. Still need to decide on what to do inside though... Yes @rocketdogbert I will use the FB page for that.1 point -
