12 days off work and nothing to do ... so might as well spend some money and reorganise my first and second line kit ? Belt: - Blackhawk battle belt with ITW buckles - Esstac KYWI double pistol pouch - 5.11 double magazine pouch - Blackhawk medical pouch - 5.11 flashbang pouch - Safariland Glock 19 with QLS forks and T-Rex arms thigh strap Vest: - Blackhawk heli vest - Blackhawk admin pouch - 5.11 double magazine pouch - 5.11 flashbang pouch - 5.11 radio pouch (on rear) Decided to swap out my old Blackhawk magazine pouches for these 5.11 ones (Courtesy of Venomous ?) as they’ll fit both my M4 and AK magazines quite comfortably. Intending to run this for urban ops or skirmish games. Rhodesian chest rig on its way soon for my woodland load out.2 points -

My personal experience is that Abby Ultra is a bit weaker than Nuprol 2, but the MWS is pretty gas efficient so runs well on both. I prefer Nuprol 2, (or 3 or 4 in certain conditions), but it depends what you have available. I do have a couple of metal slide pistols that run like crap on Abby Ultra, but will chug away all day on Nuprol 2, hence my preference.1 point -

Ye i'm mostly catching up with people to get their final reviews of the first test. The model the 2nd test is almost done, just need to refine the selector and allow compatibility with mp5 hi caps: https://gyazo.com/8b80fc4a99738cec16102413aa3fdb7f On the side, i'm working on a modern tec 9 to fit on an m4 (was originally an actual tec9 upper for an m4 as a commissioned piece but i'm decking it out more): https://gyazo.com/565d9a13529844461da1224237ad09ff1 point -

Making the Novristch Ssp1 a Little Less Shameful

the problem i've found with gbb's is they're systems that are in very delicate balance. the hammer spring, recoil spring, float valve, mag valve, how well the mag sits, the seals between the hop/nozzle and the mag/nozzle are all critical. my general theory is it's better not to mess with the base mechanism too much, because throwing out those tolerance can spell real bad news. all i've done with the makarov is change the piston head to what i'd call an aeg type (as opposed to the solid rubber thing that they come with stock) and generalised tinkering with the hop/barrel. same with the dragonuv all i've done is a bit of spacer rubber in the magwell and some hop work, but even that gave a bunch of problems. but everyone has their weakness, and i'll admit that i don't know as much about gbb's as i do about aeg's/hpa's, at least not to the level where i'm confident enough to be issuing advice on changing out parts etc.1 point -

I did knock together a bb trap target for my back garden, so i can do some shooting during lockdown to relieve a bit of boredom... I know it doesnt look like much, it was quickly knocked together from some cheap timber so that if required i can quickly pull it apart and store it in pieces between my shed and fence without faffing around with complex fastenings etc... plus the simple construction allows me to make quick repairs if needed.... A bit of wire across the opening allows me to hang paper targets, or i can put knock-down targets inside the trap I am adding more padding inside the target though, as i did get a couple of ricochets during test shots, so until i have the appropriate materials to hand i wont be using it again. Its a Charlton rifle, made by the australian and new zealand armies in early ww2 due to issues getting brens from britain, and a huge surplus of lee enfield rifles from ww1...1 point

Hello good ol'community, I got a question for custom builds/builders. I'm currently on a personal project and have had some people help with the design aspect. I'm moving onto the next phase which is more for function/working condition. Does anyone know of a place/company that can assist with making a functional 3D printed airsoft gun, or have advice on the next phase? I have a few mock 3D molds at present. Many thanks,1 point

Try some different gas first... Abbey Green for the warmer times and Abbey Ultra Predator (red can) for the colder temperatures.. then see what type of power you get... if that still doesn't satisfy your needs then either a Angry Gun NPA nozzle or a G&P NPAS valve... there is also an RATech one. I have both an Angry Gun and a G&P one. I've only tested the AG one and it works well with no hiccups... (but is surplus to my requirements coz my G&P NPAS will go into my G&P bolt).1 point

There should be a tube-type speedloader in the box, failing that people (including myself) have had good results with the TM speedloaders, either pistol or M4 size. Firesupport have them in stock - https://www.fire-support.co.uk/category/bb-loaders--holders/?manufacturer=87&submit.x=15&submit.y=12 Oh, and welcome to the club1 point

I have decided I do want another black pistol. My bling arrived yesterday so test fitted it all and have decided to keep this one as is except take off the magwell and add the drum mag when it arrives, a sight, a sling mount onto the stock, I will also get the printed fire selector adaptor too and run the second with the red charging handle, magwell, and tracer for CQB Excuse the crap pic1 point -

At some point i would also like to see about making my own airsoft gun, but i need more money behind me first, as it would require a lot of work. The gun i want to make would probably have to be a GBB as the (rare) real steel is mostly exposed workings due to it being a conversion from a bolt action rifle into a LMG... (so no place to hide a gearbox and motor) Is there any requirement to get a home made GBB proofed (or a similar test) before it can be used on fields?0 points
