Boneyard Combat Master from Patrolbase . It's the Army Armament one , listed as a faulty slide catch and leaking valve in the mag. The slide catch was replaced with a 1911 one from my spares draw. The leaking inlet valve was interesting, someone had overtightened it to the extent that the head had sheered off leaving the threadede section still in the mag. Drilled out nicely and replaced with a spare. Total cost to fix was effectivly zero as it was just a couple of bits from the spares.

My slow grow on the Crye chest rig ended up not being particularly slow grow at all. A lot of inspiration taken from the Reptile House blog (read as 'largely stolen entire set up'), as many seem to with this particular rig. I am planning on picking up one of the Crye stretch panels at some point but couldn’t resist the draw of the regular detachable flap. Alongside that there’s a 6x6x3 GP pouch, a full length KYWI, a TacBelts AVS adapter and a bunch of WTFix straps. Looking forward to messing around with this over the weekend to see what setup I land on. Also had a BCM stock turn up which I completely forgot about ordering.

I’m cynical so would tend to suggest the seller was more than aware that it being two-tone at some point in its life would hurt the sale price so the information was intentionally withheld, but ultimately there is no possible way I could ever prove it... simply seems to be the most likely situation. Either way the feeling of having the wool pulled over your eyes is never a nice one, if the buyer isn’t satisfied I hope they’re able to come to an amicable resolution.

It should have absolutely been mentioned in the Advert. £800 isn't chump change, I would be livid if I was the buyer. What a dick thing for the seller to say. In fact I'd send the whole lot back and raise a PayPal dispute.

Yeh, you're probably right. Luckily PayPal offers 'over and above' buyer protection. It boils my piss that there are sellers out there that will do such a thing though. If I sell something, I'm 100% honest about what I'm selling, warts'n'all listing all potential issues. The buyer can at least then make an informed decision about buying.

Yes - epic amounts of fun ? Selector switch that allowed single/2 round burst/ full auto. Easy enough to dismantle and service as and when required. It was available with a suppressor that had an extended inner barrel which helped the accuracy. Heavy, but manageable. The nature of this sale it seems stems around the fact it was a perceived bargain. We all want a bargain let’s face it... The rarity of the item adds to it. For some it’s a grail piece for others it’s a weird looking GBBR and would never bat an eye lid at it. Regardless of what it is the buyer should always do due diligence and ask questions. Assume nothing!

I know it's a bit of a kick in the nuts but £15 for a courier is still a pretty good price for Poland to UK. As for the rest it does all depend on what is on the CN22 label. The fees they originally quoted you didn't make much sense so maybe they are holding it to re-asses. Just a waiting game at the moment, I've a couple hundred motors stuck with UPS god knows where for 2 weeks now.

There is another question unanswered here though; who the FUCK buys a Vector brand new, BEFORE they have got a UKARA number? I think most people (certainly on this forum where a lot of sense is talked) spend a few games as a rental, realise it is great and then go and buy something for £100-150 (maybe push that up to £250 if you have a disposable income and want to get extras). But the guy selling this decided his intro to airsoft would be some absolute top of the line bit of kit and was willing to let someone paint it pink so that he could have it before he even tried the sport out? Never mind the underhand nature of the sale, would you trust someone who was that stupid??

It will be Interesting to see how PayPal handles this case. Either it’s a full refund excluding postage and believe me that can be difficult to get back or both parties may agree to a mutual understanding. Nevertheless this episode should be a reminder to everyone to ask all the fundamental questions when buying used gear. Sadly the current COVID situation does not help matters as you can’t try before you buy anymore.

Even for a cheap gun not mentioning the shitty paint job / ex two tone is a dick move but maybe something you could get over, for something considered a grail gun and costing that much it certainly is deceitful. I find it even worse that for a game based on honesty people would be so snide when it comes to things like this

But does it though? The seller (rightly) listed other flaws with the gun (i.e. cracked magazine shrouds) - but neglected to mention a big show-stopper for a lot of people. That, IMO, is misrepresentation. Hopefully the buyer will raise a dispute (assuming they used PayPal). I would apoplectic with rage if this had happened to me. This x1000. Absolutely spot on. It should be a rule for using the classifieds.

I can say to anyone that even stock, the MWS has renewed my love of airsoft. It is so satisfying. FYI - wolf armouries has a few mags in stock but they are £54 each. Also if anyone needs a TM stock I am giving mine away, just message me if you want it and we’ll sort out postage.

That attitude might work when you buy a pos car from a dodgy car salesperson but for what this is I would feel like I was lied to as a buyer. It’s fairly easy to tell if a gun has been repainted especially if it’s done poorly and should be mentioned regardless as mentioned by other the buyer should return and there money back

Thanks mate, I've already ordered a can of Khaki Krylon Camouflage if I get a chance next week the MRE will definitely get a dusting! If I can get it to look anything like this one I'd be happy! ? I used to have a PL2 (fantastic torch) not ideal but just so you know behind the glass is a polycarbonate lens as mine got shot out and after picking out the bits of glass you'd never know!
