  2. Agreed. The vast majority of my order is just not available in the UK.

  3. I've seen people mod trousers with a couple of improvised belt loops sewn on the seams either side of the knee, then your kneepad straps looped through them. Means they stay at the right height, but also don't need to be stupidly tight, virtually cutting off the circulation.

  4. 12:1 installed in the ak. Shimming was literally the same, bar a different arrangement on the bevel... Also, E&L gears and SHS/Rocket gears are awfully similar Now, Perun, hurry the fuck up and release your new V3 mosfet.

  6. Currently on hold to the UPS brokerage department. So far I have been waiting 3 hours and 7 minutes.

  7. The secret with knee pads is not to go horizontal with the straps but to cross them behind your knees , as in top strap to bottom slider and visa versa , unless you’ve got straps that are way too long for your Skinny chicken legs then I pretty much guarantee they’ll stay ‘up’ ?

  8. Personally I've used these with great success. The bottom strap is solid so you can tighten it behind your knee above your calf and the to step is elasticated. Really protective and are always where I need them to be when I need them to be there.

  9. You never know. Keep your eyes on the ads! Got the airsoft equivalent of ADHD when it comes to gear and loadouts...although I think that's just normal for airsofters isnt it?

  10. Sounds like it would be easier to hire a van, drive to Poland, load it up with stuff and drive it back to the UK...

  12. Yeah, he isn't everyone's cup of tea! I met him in person at Red Alert and have been playing with him (oo-er) for a while. He's alright, just liked to wind people up on the internet (and sometimes took it a bit far). He's actually selling off most of his airsoft gear if you now anyone in the market for a tricked up SRS with a load of bits and bobs.

  13. Loadout getting closer to completion with today's deliveries: Warrior Assault Systems Gen 2 Hydration pack in Coyote and Pentagon Raptor baseball cap, which probably won't be for skirmishing but it was only about £7 from UK Tactical Mechanix M-Pact gloves, also in Coyote and Blue Force Gear sling mount from Tactical Kit PTS EPS for the 416 and a bonus pack of paedo pellets from Dave's Custom Airsoft Still a few more bits and pieces to go to give me a few options for different plate carrier and/or chest rig setups, but going well.

  14. Odd. It's an ASG M11 with 2 mags and a suppressor. From old site favourite @Duff in fact!

  15. Very much given up on being 'all in' on sniping, but I wanted to have a cheaper boltie on deck that I don't feel guilty if I don't use it for months... but have it there when the urge comes calling.

  16. A few boring bits to throw in the VSR, some pouches for my TRMRs (and patch) from Andy at TacBelts, an additional Spiritus pistol mag sleeve and AXL Microfight Hi-top Zipper to finish off the CQB chest rig. Initial plan is to plug this into the AirLite harness, but that’ll depend on whether I can be arse swapping out hardware. Also have a Ferro Mini Dangler on the way which is super exciting as the final piece of the puzzle in a few of my load bearing setups.

  17. I think @Tacklenailed it with his idea. Four of these ITW Nexus Square loops sewn onto the outside of the trousers for each leg (two a side). Pass the knee pad strap through them, means no way to slide down. Clever and very cheap if you are handy with a sewing machine.

  18. Let's assume that I'm not in a position to spend more on my trousers than I spent on my RIF. They do look like good kit though. This look like an idea worth pursuing though. Unless they have moveable knee pads the leg length will be wrong for me (28" inside leg) I like this idea. Similar to what I had in mind using velcro but simpler.

  21. Viper is hardly pricey, it's very much at the lower end of the price scale for those style of trousers, although the quality is reasonable for the money paid. Good enough for most people's LARPsoft/BBWarz.

  22. sewing a pocket and adding a builder-style foam pad is absolutely viable, if you have the requisite sewing skills. i do preferr trouser mounted as it's the least intrusive method. that said, currently i don't use knee pads, but my game style generally allows that if i need to kneel i'm not doing it in a hurry nor being particularly mobile in a kneeled position.

Fresh from Mark at FMJUK, here’s my crack at building a DMR Semi only, chronos in at 430-435 with 0.2’s. Started life as a two-tone Cyma that needed some tlc. Fresh spring, new hop unit+barrel, changed the motor to a higher torque Infinity and rewired it for standard Gate-style mosfets. Picked up a wooden stock from Airsofttiger. Sanded, stained and finished etc. Sanded off seam lines, got some slightly unusual (but real-steel accurate) Winchester trades cut and sent it off for a coat of Cerakote E110 Midnight.
