I’ve finally managed to get a PSG1 sight on my PSG1 strangely enough. Bloody hard going trying to find one and along the way I now own a TM PSG1 ffs. Haha ?

Clean up and repair the handguard, rewire to deans. other than that im very happy with the current performance. im picking up a spare set of gears and a gearbox casing for it. but I dont really intend to mess with it.

Barrel length/bore size and an NPAS are all you really need to up the power to any level you can use in the UK. A couple of my MWS also have an angry gun v2 piston head and an after market rocket valve spring, but that was just because the OEM parts had started to wear and it’s much harder to get new OEM parts than the after market ones (and they work fine).

I just wanna look cool and I think Russian kit is the coolest IMO. So yeah blyatsoft

Cribbs would be ideal. I'll be Schlepping on Public Transport so some places will be out of reach. I'll be staying in Coalpit Heath so I can probably reach Cribbs by 9AM without issue. Well in my case it's not savings of a few quid. The CYMA Platinum 97b at patrolbase is £100+ more expensive, isn't the 'upgraded version', and isn't even in stock.

As requested by @Adolf Hamstercopious amounts of photos. the metal on the gun is in great condition and it fires beautifully. Unfortunately though it seems the previous owner has been using a screwdriver to pry open the handguard to put in a battery.

Some custom backpacks to get all my kit to and from, as well as during larger milsim ops as a medic. Slim son of a gun is for the medical stuff and the fatty is for everything else. Clip onto each other to make one unit when dont need just one or the other. Real neat.

The recoil is so good

Picked up a G&P Magpul M4 with a locked up gearbox/trigger and missing stock and stock tube. Snagged it for 50 quid! Completely stock but with Magpul receiver, Pistol grip, handguard and foregrip. Cracked it open, seems that the cocking lever spring has been overstretched so the bolt cover won't spring back as it should. In the gearbox I found the spur gear shaft completely sheared off and the motor pinion well worn. Replaced the spur gear, Air seal was OK, but I switched out the full cylinder for a 4/5ths as well as a new piston and cylinder head (which had to be modified to fit the gearbox protrusions) Seems to be working OK if a little bit tight sounding. Going to grab some parts from AK2M4 to get her really purring, as well as a stock tube and stock. The intention is to have a full set of M4A1 and Magpul furniture to switch between.

Combat South is my local site and one i have visited the most over the years. Great site, great bunch of people run it and very much missed by everyone in the South. I tend to judge every site now by Combat South, as the standard they need to live up to. Russ is working hard to find a new site. CSW will be back ( sorta )

Combat South wickham. Big site with plenty of walking but also plenty of props. Dense wooded areas and also open clearings.Good mix of terrain. Will miss the lunches though ☹ Plus it was only twenty mins away. Sadly missed ? Regards

Longtime lurker, first time poster. I blame this thread entirely for encouraging me to buy and modify an MWS ? (thanks?). Have had a number of AEGs and GBB pistols, but this was my first venture into GBBRs. I stupidly decided to go down the expensive and difficult route of modify my first MWS to recreate John Wicks TR-1, albeit with a few minor changes. It's more akin to the current version sold on Brownells as opposed to the version seen in the movie. A little bit of both I guess. So far its mostly externals, but I intend on working on the internals as well. Once I have some more money that is ?. picked up an f-1 skeletonized receiver with trigger pack for dirt cheap. 3D printed an MWS barrel and barrel nut for the spare 250mm stock barrel. designed my own handguard. angry gun hopup and adjuster. ML packing. OEM bcg and charging handle from impulse 101. sub $300 build!

Just for the multiple people asking about power and stuff. Feel free to play about with the bits that you are. But I am running completely stock internals besides the SixG number from @Davegolfand the thing is about 310-330fps on .20 temp dependant. The sites I play chronological on Joules so not much point in me trying to increase the FPS in anyway. Really would just say play a few games with it standard and see how you get on.
