Recent acquirement, one that needed a total brain-shutdown WE Desert Eagle with ALC full steel kit and realsteel MAK grips. Got it used from HongKong, so it wasn't as expensive as a new ALC kit (which really costs an arm and a leg), but still the most expensive pistol I ever bought... it definately is an EXTREMELY impressive GBB kit, everything in that kit is CNC machined steel: Slide, frame, front part, sights, trigger, slidecatch + disassembly lever, safety, hammer. This one is the somewhat rarer version in dark chrome. Altogether this DE now weighs in at 2.283g, which is about the weight of a real one and almost 1kg heavier than a standard WE Desert Eagle. Mighty blowback, especially using CO2 magazines. Friend of mine helped me out with the gap in the back of those realsteel wood grips. he filled it in perfectly. Thanks a ton! Very nice, I really like that scope mount but I can't fit that on my one as not enough room Change out to some bits tan parts and swapped out the A2 sight for low profile gas block.

It feels far nicer in the hand, probably hops a slightly heavier BB, slightly further but that's about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% saying they're not worth it on a £ to performance level (much like a "fully upgraded" NGRS) but just highlighting that you can sink £600 in to a pistol.

Yep the only issue is it came from taiwan gun so needs to be a part of a £140 order and youre risking UPS shipping which is as quick and reliable as an Austin princess.

What spread of FPS are you getting now? If it is much more than +/-10 (so 20fps in total) maybe look at changing something. Best to test in 20degC and pause between shots to avoid mag cool down impacting the test (and don't over fill the mag with gas!) Everything TM with the DP valve gave me the best results and was +/-5fps vs +/-8fps for stock TM. Hardly worth worrying about!

Finally got mine before the weekend and inbetween moving gotten it up and running as much as can with current parts. Need some M-LOK rail segments for light/dbal combo. DBAL filling my lower 1/3rd though so that's great fun. Probably end up going back to a PEQ15 to get around the issue. Still waiting for a new stock and a handgrip but other than that it's more or less complete. Contemplating a front sight but honestly with the short dot setup it does not make to much sense as no space in the rear for a rear one. Just a dash of MCTP paintjob once the weather gives a nice weekend and it's more or less ready for the season.

Finally a paid up member of the fine MWS club! This beauty arrived today, and now the real fun begins, turning this CQBR into a URGI style 10.3" build!

Anyone tried the TM pistol mag sized speed loader with MWS magazines? I have the TM XL one and it works great but want a small one to carry in the field for those busy games ? I have tried my Nuprol one and only managed to spray BBs all over the floor.

So where the hell did all of these Mags come from..... So sorting out some stuff the other day as I am paring down my Airsoft kit. (Keeping all my GBBR stuff, but going down to 1 NGRS AEG as a final backup) and I discovered (to my surprise) that tucked away in various corners I have 20 (Yes TWENTY!!!!) MWS Magazines. Some of these I purchased myself so I had a skirmishable number of mags, but the others came as part of various used bundles that I used to build my current fleet of 4 MWS. 3 of these are the short Vietnam/MTR style mags the remainder (17) are all TM v2 mags. All are fully working and gas tight. 13 of the 35 rounders have silent fill valves fitted and have had the silver tube cropped just above the fill valve, the other four are stock (and actually look brand new, not even any scuffing round the magazine catch). On the one hand I'm thinking I should just distribute the mags around my various loadouts so they are all 'grab and go' ready rather than just faffing about switching mags around, and it does mean if I ever sell my collection each gun will come with a usable amount of mags. On the other hand I am secretly crying inside at the amount of cash I have tied up in MWS magazines that I will never need to carry in one go....
