Here is a vid of the grenade launcher. This is from when I was still deciding on an operating pressure. so the shots are a little inconsitent. Its now running for about 9-10 shots at 300 psi quite safely with the ability to quickly crank it up for long range shots if necesarry. Runs off 12 gram co2 cartridges in the front section. Still needs prettying up a bit though. Grand total of around £100-120 spent (including 1 co2 rated tag shell which is most of the cost)4 points -

MOE would probably work. Pic from the last game day, must look for the others I've got of it. Mine is actually WE based , has trades, all the correct milling on the upper (front edge , extra slot and cut away over charging handle) and on the buffer tube (threads removed). Barrel shortened and lug removed. Buffer tube, stock, mag catch and fore grip are all R/S and I have a correct DIS for it. I also modded the lower KAC rail section so it appears to have the second securing system to match the one on the top section.1 point

Lol The storm grip is very comfy to use , black ergo grip as seen on the A2 would work. That build should look pretty damn good. Had an interesting moment at the local site a few weeks back when I was up there testing my 119 on their chrono . Chap walked out of the game zone strolled past and did a classic cartoon type double take from 10 or 12 feet away 'whose is the C8 ? where did you get a C8 ?' every one else at the sight thinks its a bloody M4 ? TBF I have gone a looong way down the path with it though .1 point

I know, it's a very deep rabbit hole to go down! I'll probably draw the line at the correct trades - I'm aiming for a ten foot build (i.e., from 10 feet away you probably can't tell... ?). Planning to get the barrel shortened and the FSP lug ground down, and got my eye on a CAR-15 stock from Brownells. The pistol grip might end up as something more modern though - I can't stand grips with the nub, because I have small child-like hands ?1 point

Just bought a brown KMCS 3.0 from Empire Airsoft. Very impressive service, the suit was with DHL about 15 minutes after purchase! Should be here tomorrow!!1 point

Well I have shattered 2 practice shells by maxing out the psi so Imagine that would be pretty evil XD1 point -
I played Zmart on saturday and I had a amazing game day. I dont know what clicked (maybe I was missing my proper cqb) but I was on fire. Playing pretty aggressively, as in pushing forward, always moving and shooting and changing positions, taking ground and generally being a nuisance I was picked as a rogue VIP (for those that remember those games at The Mall) and was holding both teams off from different directions for ages. One of the players thought there was a squad in the area I was as I kept moving so much haha. One of the games I must have been 30+ kills for 1 death and all I was using was a pistol too. I can honestly say it was probably one of my best days of gameplay. Cannot wait to get back there1 point

Same problem here, there is an uneasy cracking from the XL loader itself and filling up my Prowin / SAA mags with bbs is everything but quick and effortless. I was a tad disappointed as the XL loader has a quite revered status in this part of the forum ( and not that cheap ). My conclusion was that it's perfect for OG mags while aftermarket springs are too heavy on it. Your report + an individual from the local field have me doubting on the XL. He had more luck with the small loaders from TM.1 point -
Dammit... you had to show me those links when i still have a week to payday... But to answer your question, as long as i can fit the mags into the pouches, then yes, i will be looking for one of those vests, otherwise i will be looking for something as close as possible while allowing several mags to be carried. Maybe in the future i will.look at an MP5, but i prefer the look of a p90... plus i already have too many guns at the moment, so im in no rush to buy a new one XD1 point

Traveled to Oakham to visit The Gaol. Was fast paced CQB with the least amount of moaning I've experienced at any day of airsofting. Extremely enjoyable. The venue is great with it being a disused prison. Plenty of buildings to navigate through, some light, some pitch black (or close to). Outdoor areas were interesting with just the right amount of cover in each area. The owner of the site is what I believe made it so great. He switched up windows that were open, access around the site and through buildings in-between all games. Kept you thinking throughout to prevent yourself being shot in the arse and thinking about how you can be sneaky-sneaky. Looking forward to going again in the future. If anyone is around the East Midlands area, I would highly advise doing so. I believe they used to operate with around 100 attendees per game day, however they restricted number due to covid and have decided to keep it that way permanently even if they cannot afford to do so (the words from the owner himself).1 point

not personally (discounting the pilfering of kit by squadmates done in the name of humour and always returned), however i have heard of stuff getting pinched, including a double barreled 1911..... its surprising to me it doesn't happen more often given people just leaving their kit strewn out across the safe sone, rifles, pistols etc. personally if it's not on me it stays locked in the boot of the car. i do recall one day stumbling across a gas vector mag just lying inside a building, normally i would ignore such things but in that instance i figured "if i pick it up at least i know a theiving bugger hasn't", you've never seen such a look of relief when it was re-united with its owner.1 point -

Guys, me and my fellow airsofters in my country tried the new Begadi VSR5 60degrees nub with omega tensioner - can confirm its better than ML 2021 Decepticon 60/70 degrees - shots are more consistent, fly trajectory is flatter - can recommend to try it out! https://www.begadi.com/begadi-pro-60-vsr5-r-hop-bucking-gummi-air-sealed-fuer-ca-5mm-lauffenster-blau.html1 point -

Taking that part of the mag apart is easy, just remover the two hex head screws from the base plate and that’s it. Be careful though there is a small plastic piece at the base plate end of the feed spring that likes to shoot it’s self into orbit if you are not careful. while you have it apart check the bb follower for imperfections. I have had one mag with this problem and it had a small amount of extra plastic on the bb follower I had to carefully polish off. Be aware putting the feed spring back in is a PITA. The aforementioned small plastic ‘plug’ seems desperate to ping across the room and get lost behind the sofa of embed it’s self in your eyeball. I found a bbq skewer helpful to feed the spring on to before trying to jam it back in the bb channel. Have fun!!!!!1 point -

'nother update: This is the current state of my AAPs. You can see the TTI triggers on both, TTI selector on the DMR and standard AA charging handle on the pistol. Detail of the pistol (the sticker is from the latest tournament to indicate it chronoed at sub 1J) Closer look at the DMR (the missing screw on the grip stripped itself to all fuck on installation) Detail of the TTI selector1 point

That guy that saw the YouTube videos, bought the AW drum mag, has suffered with cooldown / a knackered drum mag spring / sticking output valves / a gas burn on his hand / broken hammer? I'm that guy, but I wish that I wasn't ? (love my AAP-01, quirks and all, but the AW drum mag has been an absolute bitch)1 point

Carried out some changes to my 10.3" URGI-1 over the last few weeks. Some because I simply fancied a change but others because I have taken some things I like from my MRE build and wanted to transfer them onto this much modern rifle. I was going to swap out the front end entirely and build up an 11.5" barrel complete with a Geissele MK4 rail. But I just love the compactness of the 10.3" and I know its a very common rail in the safe zone, but the URGI is just fantastic and it would take something pretty special to beat it IMO, in terms of its slim profile and ergonomics. So the 4 prong SF Flash Hider has gone in favour for a SF closed-tine. Think of it like a modern day bird cage flash hider. (Both made by Angry Gun) The Magpul hand stop has been replaced with a TrueNorth Concepts Handstop-K a much smaller profile and takes advantage of the slim design of the urgi rail. Having really missed the ambi fire selector fitted to my MRE I wanted the same on the urgi albeit a little more modern. So enter the PTS Radian Talon ambi selector, which is very well made and offers solid/precise manipulation. I was so impressed with the PTS fire selector I coupled it with their licensed version of the Radian Raptor-LT charging handle. I love the vertical shooting position of the Magpul MOE K2 Pistol Grip, but prefer the rubber grip that the Hogue offers on my MRE. Luckily Magpul make the 'K2+' which is an overmolded grip with rubber, giving me the best of both worlds. I've now fitted a Angry Gun Milspec buffer tube as it has worked flawlessly on my MRE and takes out any slop with genuine stocks. This has been followed with a SixG HSB to improve single shot performance, I've tested it and it works very well indeed. Looking forward to testing it further in game! Lastly as much as I'm a fan of the small form factor of the Magpul MOE SL-K, I just miss shouldering a rifle with a CTR fitted. Let's be honest that stock suits any build even if its been around for a while now! A Magpul enhanced magazine release, and Magpul ODG magazine pulls are also on route... Thanks for reading my update, another post from a geardo/geek!1 point

Hi everyone, long time no post for me but thought I'd throw up my latest gat. I'm waiting on the real early D type stock and pistol grip to finish it off as a proper XM16E1. Base is the MWS M4A1 with a custom upper receiver done by LCS Engineering Outpost. Fencing was removed from the lower by me. Internals are stock with the exception of the rifle length buffer and tube.1 point
