  1. in the continuing quest for a fog free day, I've made this. 2 20mm fans housed in a 3D printer enclosure. Slides onto the side of the glasses and blows air across the inside face of the lense. 3 speed settings controlled by the switch and all run off a usb power bank. First real trial will be this weekend.

  4. It's because people like the customisability and versatility of it. The amount of time and effort people put into making and sharing their own designs and products, most of the time for free is quite staggering! Plus it's a cheap £80-90 pistol that can quite easily (using readily available AA parts) be turned into essentially a DMR with full Auto capabilities. I know most people own more than one of them (me included) but you could use just the one pistol as a DMR in the morning, rebuild it into an SMG after lunch and then use it at a pistol by just whipping off (or just folding) the stock and use it as a secondary. I do understand your point totally, but why do we do any of it? Why do we mooch about in the woods or abandoned buildings shooting eachother? Because we can and because it's fun!

  6. It's all printed. I can't remember the thread exactly, I think it's something like 13/16th of an inch but you can find it online. You can get real steel buffer tubes for about a tenner off of AliExpress, cheapest place I found. When you draw it up you need to scale the threads up ever so slightly so that they don't bind up

  7. I use real steel buffer tubes threaded into my printed components instead of AEG buffer tubes. That way you can print it all flat and not have to worry about that fracture point. It does make things a little bulkier though.

100% agreed with Leadly. What's different spending money on one of these to use as a primary compared to a hicapa build, buying a TM MWS or other gas rifle, upgrading your existing AEG, etc, etc. A lot of those are great out of the box and don't necessarily need to be touched. There are many aspects of this hobby that you can easily not spend money on, but if people want to they'll spend it.

  12. Job done. Perfect, tight fit first time (wasn't expecting that, hence the Red filament as I'm running low on black). Will print a black one shortly now I know the tolerances and fitment work.

The MWS is done. No more changes. I’ve spent way too much on it ?

This is my current incarnation. I think I’m pretty much done with it. Not much more I want to change on it unless I break something.

    THE TM MWS thread

Holy Jesus, just finished reading the full 216 pages ? Here's my newish MWS - started life as a 14 inch M4A1, but just swapped out the barrel for the 10.3. I'd originally planned for it to be a project gun, with my GHK MK18 remaining my primary, but it's just so good I think the TM has usurped the GHK! The plan will be an L119A1/C8 CQB inspired build, so if anyone has any suggestions or advice I'm all ears. I'll be keeping the internal stock (except the SixG nub which is already in there).

  17. Sup guys hope everyone's well! Sadly, my CYMA Platinum 0.97B from TG broke 3 hours after use. It makes the jingle when the battery plugs in but doesn't fire anymore. TG think its the optical trigger sensor, and they're probably right. Not only that, but it dropped from 350 to 300fps within a few hours too, so guess there's an airleak already. However, they are flat out declining to fullfill our warranty agreement. They said they are no longer shipping to the UK because of 'brexit' despite accepting my order and many other's in May. For that reason they are not willing to give me a return label to send it back to them for repair. I know it's likely a simple fix, but its my first RIF and I dont want to open it myself and void the warranty, incase there's more issues down the road.. I mean, it completely broke after 3 hours. Pretty shocked at TG's customer service, they have been horrendously unhelpfull and are doing anything they can to shut me out. I'd prefer not to go down the paypal dispute route as I loved the gun while it lasted, and its £100 cheaper than buying in the UK, (and I paid a load in import fee's to get it here). Anyways, just thought I'd share this in case anyone has any suggestions for what I should do. It's my first and only replica so I've been missing out on game days, sat here with a bunch of brand new unusable gear. I'll see how things go from here on out, but if they continue to be unhelpful I'll probably post a brand new thread on here warning people of the risks involved with TG. Peace out
