yeah heard of this too. seems they've fallen quite far into the well of dirty tactics since the internet made finding out records from the original source much easier to find.2 points -

Just to update I got my plate carrier setup from Poland delivery by UPS and I was thinking about long delays and extra charges. Only took over a week and no extra charges on 269 order,I already paid VAT from the shop though.1 point -
Xtreme Tactical Ltd ebay seller
SSPKali reacted to Adolf Hamster for a topic
An extremely convincing argument, a heavy defence of the seller that isnt remotely suspicious even with the lack of evidence beyond "looks legit to me bruv" and loyal devotion to spreading the word. On the other hand we have the guy who has a long history on this board of buying both legit real optics and chinese clones, but that doesnt mean anything.....1 point -

What have you made?

Several test prints later, and a few changes were made. The screw hole has been enlarged for the bolt to pass clean through the base, and halfway into the shell. This makes it flush inside the assembly and actually serves as a pin between all 4 parts. I have also decreased the outer sides of the Inner parts by .02" all around (.5mm), as it would require a pneumatic press to actually get the two inner halves into the shell. Just the cm or so I shoved them together to test the fitment took a hammer to remove. So far I have 2 of the latest bases done, a possible "production" print of the shell done (I have three options to print it: First, I can do it with the top horizontal, and support material as a wedge. This is what I did for the shell I have printed. It worked, but did have some errors along the base and had to be sanded flat. Testing with the inner parts after theyre done will determine if this is a problem. Its also the longest print - at 80% speed it takes a whopping 14 hours: Second is to print it with no supports at the bottom, leaving the top as a slant. This has the plus of ensuring a flat base, but gives a layered top: Third is to print on its side. This is the fastest method at only 8 hours and change at 100% (approx 12 hours at 80%), but does use the most material and cost the most. To be fair its about 3 Euros per shell vs the 2.70 Euros or so if printed in either vertical orientation, so not exactly an important difference. Cleaning all that support material out is gonna be a PITA though, and itll leave the face-down side a different texture due to my textured print bed. ), and I am working on printing the two inner halves now. Heres what it looks like mostly assembled, still missing the two inner halves:1 point -

A perfectly cromulent solution. I wear a belt and braces, but that's mostly just to hang an MP5K of. It's amazing how many mags you can stuff into the pockets of surplus shirts and trousers.1 point

As someone who tried to get them to come and certify a world record I can confirm this is not the case, they generally tell you that yours is too silly (really?! Have you seen some of the stuff they certify?) and then threaten legal action if you call it a "world record" with out them verifying it (even if you never mention the G word) Last email to them was pretty much summed up as "Go away in small, jerky movements'1 point

Well, many days after starting, I've finally finished all 200 pages. Apart from figuring out that I really need to do more with my spare time, here are my main take homes from the thread: The MWS in all its iterations is, as Snoop may say, the shiznit The MK18 version looks ace but the design is mental The third party support for the platform is huge @AlphaBearhates Nuprol The one constant upgrade that almost everyone agrees on as being performance enhancing and therefore an essential purchase, is the SixG brass nub Whenever retailers get any MWS's or TM original parts in stock (especially mags), they disappear rapidly, so act fast Angry Gun are shit, but they're not, sort of HAO Industries kits are incredible looking (416 and L119A2 ?) but are jaw-droppingly expensive @AlphaBearreally hates Nuprol Fire Support provide excellent service to the needy and cash-rich MWS brethren Depending on barrel length, ammo weight, nub type, gas type, ambient conditions, lunar alignment and inside leg measurement, FPS ranges from 200 - 1,400 fps The green gas mag mod is not necessarily necessary @AlphaBearfrigging hates Nuprol Become familiar with Impulse101 and other Japanese sites and order well in advance of needing spare TM parts Nozzles, nozzle springs, TM hop rubbers and a decent armourer's wrench should be in everyone's tool/spares box This thread is an absolute goldmine of people willing to share information, admire other people's builds and welcoming other people in joining the growing number of MWS owners @AlphaBearabsolutely, positively hates Nuprol Thanks everyone. Looking forward to receiving the stock alert email telling me it's time to sell a kidney (or kid) as my MWS journey is about to begin.1 point
