couple of places have it sub £300 but the price seems to have snuck up everywhere else. still maybe pay £240.00 for a2nd hand one with no extra mags. I sold my 3 month old with 4 mags for £280.00 how i regret it.

i don't have the same budget as you but i went the same route with a base Series 70. the project fallen by the wayside

you could strip and polish 1911A1 controls but for time sake yeah go with the Series 70 Nickel

unlikely and the airsoft ones are like 80/90 new. so new M249 with rails £350 to £450. Scope Mosfet and mag sub £200 so maybe 650 brand new for everything

The barrel wobbles and no gas to test it, but i still like it even if it will just be a wall hanger

Can't say for sure this is over optimistic but I think it will struggle to sell. My main question is why? I just don't understand buying a £400+ gun then replace pretty much every part.
