I went and tested the x range yesterday and I have to say, in this particular RIF, I'm impressed, consistency and such is absolutely spot on. The bbs were getting out of eyesight so quickly in the dim woodland light, that I had to switch to full auto to see whether the hop was set right or not. Also, the Jaeger Precision NPAS absolutely does not drift in this nozzle. Now to figure out why my ELCAN is on max deflection right to get the sights on target. Could be the unity riser isn't straight but the scope looks to be off to the left on it. The flat nub didn't fit as the window is too small, but the 4uad nub worked very nicely with the x range.

I've tried the 4uad bucking and nub, but I don't think the bucking was too consistent which is wierd as they have been great in all my other stuff. I've got a modify x range and flat nub coming to try next, apparently they are getting decent reviews for this particular rif.

Has anyone else got one of these and if so, do you have any suggestions or tips/upgrades yourve found? Is the hop unit any good? I've heard some say that the hop arm adds a bit too much pressure on the left and makes bbs curve to the left at the tail end of their travel.

If the hop unit is similar to the MWS one, you need to turn it all the way off when you take the barrel and hop unit out and then turn the hop back on after reinstallation or you can miss the adjuster and not apply any hop no matter how much you turn the wheel.

There is a small white plastic shim and screw in the kit. You need to install that on the adaptor for the N4 to get a solid magwell fit.

I had this issue with the Noveske N4. Tried filing as directed above but the hop still wound itself off after a few mags. I solved it once and for all by ditching the stock hop adjuster for an archwick tdc one.

I've recently picked up a tri shot gas STF12. I'm wondering, is it normal for only 1 barrel to produce any power and the other 2 barrels just seem to flop out the thing for range around 10-15ft? In relation to this though, it was only about 3⁰C all day but, even with orange or red gas, it was the same. 1 barrel goes to the horizon and barrel 2 and 3 are weak. Does anyone know how to get a gas shotgun apart so I see the fixed hop and feed routes?

I'm in the UK and got a Federal Concepts FEDA direct from them. It came from Portugal, but it came. If you are in the US, there is a stockist there too, I just can't remember the name.

I have the Federal Concepts one fitted to my Noveske (GM nozzle). It's much better than the RATech as it doesn't need wedging with a second Allen key or screwdriver to adjust. Easy as hell to fit, spot on consistency and it performed flawlessly over the weekend. Just remember to add a little threadlock to the grub screw to keep it from drifting and you are good to go. As far as I can tell, and having used a Jaeger Precision downgrade valve before the FEDA came back in stock, the JP will be decent too, but it looks like a direct copy of the FEDA which Federal Concepts took the time and money to develop, so if nothing else, I'd go with the Federal Concepts one every time to support developers.

I picked up a 300 bb drum mag for my SMC9 and changed the inlet valve for an HPA tap. All worked great for about ¾ of a day and then it came loose and looks like I've stripped the threads in the mag. Has anyone else had this and if so, did you fix it or was it trashed and destined for the bin?

So, what are the latest ideas on eliminating, or reducing bolt bounce? I've seen Ollies videos on the subject, but am I looking for a heavier buffer weight or a lighter one?

Have you changed the gas routers in the DE mags? The stock ones are not a great seal. Try the GM ones. I've picked up the GM v3.5 nozzle as pictured, does anyone know what the rubber o ring is for and where it goes?

I suspect they are young. "Absolutely 0 idea what the FPS is, don't have the cash for an FPS checker" seems like something someone quite young would say.
