  1. Whose interpretation of FDE do you have in mind? My Magpul FDE items are a slightly different colour to FDE items I have from other brands and between those brands a lot of them are different too. Do you have a Pantone or Hex colour code for reference? I don't know which filament would be suitable but you're best off being clear so a recommendation doesn't have a greater colour mismatch than you'd like.
  2. I'm sure there is some hate toward Ares coming from people on the bandwagon but there is reasonable criticism as Colin alluded to. There are so many unnecessary decisions made in their design department that add to people's grievances such as trying to be edgy by using a clockwise thread on the outer barrel or forcing a vendor lock-in with proprietary gearbox casings based on v2. I happen to own one Ares AEG that has been extremely reliable but when its mosfet or something else in the gearbox goes, finding spares is either going to be really difficult or so expensive that I can just spend the money on or toward something else more modern and serviceable.
  3. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/bargian-bin/3x-airsoft-guns-1-electric-pistol-1-electric-rifle-1-pull-back-rifle_i89623 I could hear that plastic creaking in my head. Did someone buy a BB Guns 4 Less mystery box?
  4. As it's intermittent, I suspect the middle arm of your sear spring may be slightly misaligned from the hammer as I had something similar. I had to re-seat the spring on one of mine when I had that problem with the hammer.
  5. Am I right in assuming you're talking about this video? You really should share links so as to clear any doubt. Assuming that we're talking about the same video, that's doesn't strike me as a "proper" GBBR but rather an HPA blowback rifle. It doesn't look like it is configured for gas magazines but solely to run from an HPA line. That magazine looks like something proprietary so I would hope the supply of compatible mags is plentiful - I'm far from an HPA guru. With that HPA line set up as it is, I don't know what space there is for a gas mag to have enough gas for ~30 rounds.
  6. Haha! You should see 70% for that too as it's an addition to the gun and not a replacement of anything.
  7. The ZET plate, inner barrel and hop bucking won't really add any value as they're replacing the originals. Its similar for the grip and stock for the same reason though you may add £30 or so. Is the suppressor real steel? 70% of the value of the base rifle (minus ~£30 without the mag) and 70% of the scope is your ball park. If you can restore the gun to stock, you stand to fetch more selling it and the furniture/upgrades separately.
  8. I'm no V2 expert but a semi only function does sound like the selector plate or something mechanical there has given way and I have seen something similar on a V3. I would usually expect an electrical fault to run full auto only or not at all.
  9. Apart from an attitude that explains why his relationship broke down, how does he not understand that it is going to cost money in parts and labour to restore the gun to having a working safe fire setting and be usable in CQB?
  10. I'm not an HPA user myself but I'd imagine it would really help if you specified a budget (with wiggle room if there is some) so those better versed than me could give advice of what hardware falls within it. I have bought a lot of my kit from HPA UK and as you'd probably guessed, they have a lot of HPA parts to build a stock tank setup.
  11. Welcome!
  12. What makes me chuckle even more is that Ultrair isn't the best choice now it's a wee bit nippy outside. People should be looking at "red" or "black" gas now for more consistent cycling. Firesupport makes the seller's case look even worse as you can buy 6 cans in bulk and have change left over for lunch from the £50 the seller presumably wants for all 5 cans.
  13. The same tool is scamming with a too good to be true offer. In Exeter, apparently. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/m4-electric-airsoft-rifle_i89326
  14. Yes, that's the one.
  15. That brings back memories. I had a Beretta M92F flavour of that series of electric pistols 20-something years ago. As you said, it's a plinker but it would still make a very satisfying kill on a skirmish.
