Got a 3D printed LLM3, took ages to get here but I didn't realise the seller was in the Ukraine.

I've had a couple of days off work & the site has pretty much been down so my idle hands have been busy...ish. Got a selection of Virtus recently and set up some manequins with some of my kit. Pattern 58, PLCE & 'desert' been set up for a while, had the Osprey mk4 for a couple of years & the Virtus the past couple of weeks... The Osprey mk4 is 2 diff setups, one lighter for ingame (the one time I used it) & the second set up in full with cumberbunds, shoulder guards, brassards & full collar. p.s. in true L85A1 style the mag fell out as I was about to take the pic.

I have 4 Ares rif's and never had any issues with them, but they're wall hangers so I don't feel qualified to really have an opinion. What I can say is I have another 9 wall hangers that have given me issues either through previous owners 'upgrades' or parts compatibility & none of them are ares. Out of the 7 other rifs I've used in game over the past few years only 1 has caused an issue in game due to the motor hight & was a simple fix. I'm sure where there's smoke you'll find fire but ares do seem to get a lot of schtick whether it's warranted or not.

Might not be relevent but in my A1 it has a 'bracket infront of the magwell that the body pin secures, it's designed to hold the upper securely to the lower in the middle. It's a pain in the arse to fit so I removed mine. Here's a YT vid that shows what I mean, hope it helps...

I've already got an STV with genuine MOD dirt from fleabay, I'm a big fat lad but the LW size is still tight as hell (just as well I wasn't planning on using it), I've got a set of webbing with H-harness on it's way, a seperate Y-harness and a few other pouches for the setup. Still waiting on a few items but I'll be posting pics as soon as it's ready & the site has transferred over to it's new home. First impressions are the Osprey mk4 is a better fit than the virtus for my lard arse, but weighs a tonne when set up. Must admit I've ordered 2 sets of shock cord & cord stoppers as it took me a few attempts to find tan/coyote and bought black first, now got the right colour & thickness on it's way too. The Virtus collection will increase as time & funds allow. I did notice the buckles were 'weathered' & a bit firm but again, I'm not planning on using the STV

Dude, you're 50, are you seriously saying you don't have a garage, shed or drawer in the kitchen full of screws(just in case)?

Very eloquent, I'm almost embarassed to admit that the though of you liking wood made me chuckle... I'll grow up eventually.

Thinking outside the box moment but... try playing without wearing any hats/ helmets/ bandana's/ wigs/ knotted hankies etc, see if it helps.

Just blew some £££'s on a Virtus STV.
