  1. OK, so having a bit of a google it seems it should be something along these lines: https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/headings/6210#notes which would be 12% duty, but digging into it a bit further "bullet proof vest" comes back as 6210400000 which is 0% as an import from the EU https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/commodities/6210400000#import Again, it ENTIRELY depends on what they put on the CN22.
  2. OK, so you could ask them what they've put on the CN22 declaration. That would let you calculate what duty you'll be due but work on 5% (that's 5% of the total of the goods plus shipping) plus whatever UPS slap on top as a "handling" fee. Assuming they don't just lose it somewhere for three months.
  3. Are you sure you've paid UK tax at checkout? If so then it may be shipped as UK Duty Paid in which case you wouldn't be liable for more duty at import. If you've paid in GBP but actually only paid the local taxes then yes you would probably be due for import duty. If the plate carrier in question is a legit one then it may be classified as textile products for industrial use or possibly PPE. Both of which have different HS codes. If it's a knock off then it could be leisurewear or something similar. Totally depends on what the seller puts on the CN22 declaration though.
  4. I think the question we ALL need answered is...what size bag of Maltesers?
  5. I think it's time for some people to wind their collective necks in...
  6. And always pronounced "jaaaawwwby"!
  7. For those of us old enough to have grown up with the Big Yin, it means poop down south too.
  8. Was just about to say the same. In fact I'm pretty sure I said it earlier on here or one of the other "where am gnu?" threads.
  9. They haven't. I tried a couple of days ago because they have Classic Army MP5s in stock with an SEF lower. Am sad now.
  10. Yep, I bought one from AliExpress and it works well!
  11. Is that the Deadly Customs belt? How wide is it? I'm intrigued but I'm not convinced a 2" belt will fit through my trouser loops!
  12. Anybody have a Krytac handy they could check something on? I have a mates one he's asked me to look at and the hop arm pin is missing. Need a size so I can get a replacement!

  13. Nice, are they the Airsoft Artisan MLok rails?
  14. Depending on your level of spendyness, I did find a spot on replica on a certain asian "express" website...
  15. Why so many if you don't know they work yet? I mean, it's your money but... More often than not it's misinformed people that think they have to fire at exactly 350fps (you don't) and that the groupings aren't just lack of ability (it usually is) or ignoring physics (small plastic balls, outdoors, breezes - go figure). Nobody NEEDS to spend a crapping fortune upgrading their TM recoil. Any gun that costs £400+ should be more than capable on the field, if it isn't maybe it's the player not the gun. Or else you bought a shit gun without bothering to do any research. With regards to the reviews you've seen, if they are indeed mostly US based then you need to remember that they usually run at much higher FPS limits. As most guns are built for the Asian market (especially Tokyo Marui) they aren't set up for high power and often don't stand up well to the rigours of 400+ FPS full auto use. Hence they tend to prefer brands that DO work well in that way and will argue that G&G, TM etc are all garbage that need to be ripped apart and rebuilt with pig iron to be decent.
  16. You know that needs a Unity FTC mount for the magnifier though, right?
  17. Absolutely fair play! I just wondered if there was a way of replicating that function.
  18. Seems a bit of a faff, how do the Taginn made launchers do it?
  19. Mine's one of the last of the current batch, new patch is in the works apparently!
  20. Are you having to charge it every shot?
  21. Leave it alone, use it and see what works or doesn't work FOR YOU. It already has a mosfet fitted so changing to Deans is a bit moot but you could if you wanted to. G&G midcaps can be a bit hit and miss so try some of the cheaper mids (Nuprol, Battleaxe etc) first as they may well work just fine. eh? Nope, different gearbox.
  22. Are you going for the Blackhawk Medic vest to be 100% stitch counter? If so... https://medtree.co.uk/blackhawk-omega-tactical-vest-medic-utility Cheaper one on ebay! https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/691227684
  23. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mil-Tec-Tactical-Airsoft-Combat-Military-Assault-Vest-w-Pouches-Black-/162694546826?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c1 just under £40 new, £18 all in seems pretty reasonable to me.
