  1. I think that the majority comes from the supporters. You can donate money and get the "supporter" name. If I am in the UK for another year I will be doing that.
  2. Yay, necro I think the green goes well with any sort of woodland camo, but it does blend. The blue one is good for advertising/ standing out; this is a pos and a neg. I have the tan and green one. The tan ones on my helmet for my CQB kit which is tan and black. The green is on my Vegetato kit. My cat wouldn't move, so I just put the helmet on her for this pic...
  3. Would anyone be interested in a Safariland 578 ProFit holster? Got a few extras.

    1. Spatch

      Spatch

Depends how much you're selling them for

  4. How have you missed this?...
  5. AFUK patches arrived today, that was fast. The green went straight into the sleeve of my Vegatato uniform, and the tan to the back of my helmet, replacing my "Spaz/Rogers" patch, which is now also on my Vegatato uniform. Thanks to my cat for modelling the helmet I just go a confirmation from stitchmeup that my USMC style patch is being made, hopefully it will be here in time for the game at The Mall on the 24th... Although it doesn't matter as it's going on my Vegatao uniform anyway, but oh well.
  6. One point; don't get anything until you have a UKARA number. It would be a sin to two tone that gun.
  7. Oh man... Well, it depends... The cost of upgrades varies tremendously. I would look at decreasing the FPS by changing the spring, maybe to a M90 or M100, as that is really high. That's not too expensive to do. After that, it depends upon the user. My MP7 is quite costly, mostly due to what I have on it's including a £500 Eotech 552. But you could get a replica for around £20... So it depends on what you want. But the gun looks good; ICS make good guns.
  8. We don't hate you... Too much...
  9. Are you registered with UKARA? If not, don't get anything. If you are going to spend that just on the gun, then it would be a waste to two tone it...
  10. Haha, welcome. I believe we have some "vets" on here, but I am not one of them
  11. I've given in and bought two AFUK Patches, and I will momentarily be buying a custom patch with my emblem (my pic on here). I think Moonman Dan listed a good place a few posts back...
  12. And a ball pit . We set up an ambush in it last time I was there; unfortunately, the terminator came along and ruined it for us
  13. Ooooo I like it
  14. I guess I'm a regular. I know I'm going on the 24th; and the 17th is sorta a show off thing I believe, so the games aren't running fully that day. If you want to come on the 24th I'll show you around. Deffo on booking in advance, especially lately. Their guns are all G36s, and they have full load outs available too.
  15. Welcome, nice to see another local (ish). Really, I recommend trying out The Mall in Reading; you won't find much better around here.
  16. Is it a real one?...
  17. I always go airsofting during the festival. Much lower numbers means more gameplay opportunities. It was a lucky pick for my first game.
  18. Check out TheMightyJingles's Combat South Christmas game. That may give you an idea of how seriously some people take these things... (Or not seriously) I've seen people in everything from real uniforms from their army days to a giant inflatable c*** and b**** suit... So go crazy...
  19. I was in Paris at la tour effel recently, and there was a group of tourists from somewhere Asian (no I'm not being racist; I lived in Singapore long enough to know you can't say 'Chinese' or 'Koreans' or something without being lynched); it was a group of about 30 of them, and. Each. One. Of. Them. Had. A. Frikken. Stick. They kept hitting people inadvertently. Well, give it a few mins, and the army guards show up during their patrols (I guess because of the recent terrorist attacks they have armed guard stationed at all tourist attractions). The tourists kept trying to take "subtle" photos with the Famas-wielding guards, who were not amused. It was funny, especially as I knew the tourists spoke English (they were conversing in English just before), but they were pretending to only speak Mandarin (or at least the group leader was). The guard got really flustered. Not really a relevant story, but it involves selfie-sticks and guns, so whatever...
  20. And I have no idea on KWA; I've only been airsofting for a year, but my hands-on approach has given me lots of knowledge, but only for what I use. My first pistol happened to be WE, and the one I was sent from Safariland was WE as well (now it was from the States, but I don't think that would make a difference), and besides issues I made myself (cutting the oring on a 226 mag cause I couldn't get it out ) both the WE mags in my pistols and the TM mags in my MP7 have worked flawlessly.
  21. Honestly, I can't say. Maybe you got lemons, or I got really good ones. Having only used WE mags in my two pistols, I can only report how they work for me, which is good. Only one of my four P226 mags leaked badly (it was internally damaged, as I had messed with it before I knew what I was doing), and none of my G17 mags have ever had any issues, nor have had any work done to them. My TM MP7 mags were all sorts of messed up when I got them, but soaking in warm water, silicon grease, and 144a maintenance gas fixed all four of those up. Generally, I get a full mag of bbs from them all, except for sometimes the 50 rnd mag I have for my G17; but I have a mini-can of gas I carry in a spare M4 pouch just in case.
  22. It's not gonna affect range or anything; people just tend to think that WE mags hold and use their gas better. Most people I know use WE mags in TM guns.
