SuicidalBarrelRoll Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Right, so I am pretty new to airsoft. I want the gun mentioned above. Are there any issues that I should be aware of? Is the flash hider removable with 14mm CCW threads? Thanks.
Airsoft_Mr B Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 No issues as far as I know. The G&G Combat Machine M4s are great quality - both internally and externally. I'm also 99% sure that the barrel is threaded (unlike TM-spec rifles like my CYMA ) The flash hider will be able to be removed. Buy a good battery and charger. Preferably a LiPo, and re-wire to Deans. Lozart 1
Supporters Lozart Posted April 10, 2014 Supporters Posted April 10, 2014 I'm also 99% sure that the barrel is threaded (unlike TM-spec rifles like my CYMA ) This confuses me - my actual TM M4A1 has a threaded barrel. I have changed the flash hider to a Dytac QD one so I can use my tracer on it! Must be a CYMA thing rather than a TM thing?

straffham Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 My Cyma M16A3 (CM009 as they call it) has a standard 14mm -ve thread . . . . . . .

SuicidalBarrelRoll Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Is it going to be LiPo ready? I don't want a shattered gearbox or stripped teeth, any idea of a C rating and voltage? Thanks

Thanks Only an 11.1V should be problem if your gun isn't upgraded but a 7.4 should be fine. Around 25C rating I believe is the optimum, 20C is a bit too low whereas 30 is quite high IIRC.

Thanks bro, Now about a motor for this bad boy, I would like a respectable ROF,and a semi-decent trigger response (assuming I correct AOE and go with Deans plugs), what motor should I get? Keeping cost low is ideal. Airsoft_Mr B 1
SuicidalBarrelRoll Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Lonex motor?Specific one? Speed or Torque?I'm leaning towards torque.
