Lord_Metile Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Hello, my name is metile. Some of you may know me as "Kurt" "Met" and even "Lord" but that's not why I'm here. I'm here to ask some questions. First things first. Could I fit a battery in a fixed PTS Stock? That is all.
Lord_Metile Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Is there any way I could put PTS stuff onto my gun (picture in signature)
Mack Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 A masada stock. I dont think so. Arent all masadas front wired? edit: Thats a masada stock, not for an m4/m16 Airsoft_Mr B and Monty 2
Supporters jcheeseright Posted May 13, 2014 Supporters Posted May 13, 2014 yeah, that won't fit your gun full stop, it's for a completely different gun!
Lord_Metile Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Are there any magpul stocks I can put on my gun??
Mack Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Any for an m4 will work, although you will need a buffer tube too.
Lord_Metile Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Will I need to rewire? The battery goes in the stock.
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Well there's the Magpul rifle stock? It's designed as a replacement for the standard A2 fixed stock like yours. Otherwise you're going to need a buffer tube for fitting a collapsible stock (e.g. Magpul ACS / CTR / LE or crane stock)
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Will I need to rewire? The battery goes in the stock. You would need a Li-Po battery to fit in the buffer tube or if you got a crane stock a nunchuk style battery. Lord_Metile 1
Lord_Metile Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 You would need a Li-Po battery to fit in the buffer tube or if you got a crane stock a nunchuk style battery. Perfect. I was going to get a better battery.
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Perfect. I was going to get a better battery. You need a LiPo charger though as well I think. Normal NiMh charger won't work AFAIK.Need to do the same for my gun too! Thinking of new stock and getting a lipo battery.
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted May 13, 2014 Supporters Posted May 13, 2014 You WILL need a LiPo specific charger anything else is likely/guaranteed to write off either the battery or the battery, patch of carpet underneath and any nearby objects. Airsoft_Mr B 1
evilfree Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 lol, Buy an Imax B6AC if your going Lipo. Will deal with any airsoft battery you can throw at it.
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 In the long term, an IMAX B6 should be great. A rather expensive added cost though if you were simply considering a cheap new battery. When I finish my exams I'm probably getting one and LiPos for all my future guns and my MP5 when it's upgraded.
