two_zero Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I have a G&P aimpoint laying around.. any idea which batteries they take?
Suzuki Yamamoto Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I believe it's a LR44 battery. eBay has an absolute bargain for them if it is. two_zero 1
BrightCandle Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Mine takes LR44's so I suspect yours does as well (this one presumably: http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=GP121) two_zero 1
Supporters jcheeseright Posted May 19, 2014 Supporters Posted May 19, 2014 depends entirely on which model it is! the G&P Aimpoint T1 for example takes a CR2032, the comp2 takes LR44... and so on.
two_zero Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks all!Definitely not a T1, but you're right! it's a traditional looking aimpoint.. but maybe someone can identify it? and the diameter of the battery compartment is way too small for a 2032. I do not know about lr44, since I never had any. how many do I need?
BrightCandle Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Looks just like the one in the picture I provided.
Supporters jcheeseright Posted May 22, 2014 Supporters Posted May 22, 2014 Yeah that's a comp 2, LR44 batteries are easy enough to come by. Try a watchmakers shop :-) two_zero 1
two_zero Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 thanks all just one battery or do I need more?
Suzuki Yamamoto Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I had that one on my G&P and it is definitely two LR44 batteries. Get the ebay ones as it's under £4 for 12 batteries whereas in the shops it's just under £4 for 2!!!! That way you will always have spares too.
Preston Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Instead of using two LR44 batteries you can use a 2L76 battery. This will last a lot longer and is the type suggested to use by the aimpoint manual. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duracell-Photo-Lithium-Batterie-2L76/dp/B002X1CY9O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1401042021&sr=1-1&keywords=2l76
