TomC Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hey guys! I'm looking to extend the outer & inner barrel of my G&G CM16 Raider GBBR (CQB). Just wondering if there is anything I need to specifically look for since it's a gas gun. I've heard something called a "gas block" mentioned in relation to outer barrels. What Is this and is it something I am going to need? Any advice would be much appreciated Cheers, Tom
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 As far as I know the gas block isn't actually functional on an airsoft GBBR. I don't know for sure though.
CES_williamson Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 The gas block is something that brings the bolt back on a real gun but on airsoft guns it is just for looks really, if you are extending the barrel you wont have to worry about it but considering i dont have one of these guns there could be something extra but all i CAN definitely tell you is that a gas block has no purpose on an airsoft gun.
