TheOnlySystem Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Hello everyone, recently I bought a new AEG, I am looking forward in buying an sight or a scope (or both) and I was wondering which one would be the best for a beginner who has just started airsofting.
Russe11 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 A cheap red dot is always useful, it makes aiming so much easier. This is especially true for CQB. There are a vast array of different shapes and sizes for a red dot sight, it's mainly down to personal preference. two_zero 1
Supporters Finius Posted June 4, 2014 Supporters Posted June 4, 2014 If I could only have ONE sight ever again, it would be the old ELCAN. They're like the fat-girl at school who was always secretly kinda hot - they're a bit too big, and all your friends will probably laugh at you if you get one, but you know you're tempted and you just KNOW they're filth in the sack.
Nickona Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Unless you're getting something magnified theres not much point in anything other than irons For CQB a dot can be useful but the distances are so close its not going to make a big difference Also remember a sight it only ever good if its zero'd
Baz JJ Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Its a bit like asking, what is the best car to get me to work each day . Ive got most of the common optics. Love em all for different reasons. Monty and Samurai 2
Supporters Samurai Posted June 4, 2014 Supporters Posted June 4, 2014 True. For me, red dot FTW. Most people just start shooting and correct the aim depending where the BBs hit. In that case any optic is just in the way.
CaptainSwoop Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 They are all more or less the same as far as performance goes. Get what you think looks good. I like an ACOG.
