Andrew147 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Hi , in a nutshell I have long arms and long sleeves really fit me. Just so happens my professional requires me to have a professional look and not shot up arms. I am after ideas on clothing. 1) Buy Short sleeved UBAC with some sort of arm covers 2) Find a UBAC or jacket that has long enough sleeves. Anything with 25inch + sleeves on a M size would be good!
Supporters Monty Posted July 2, 2014 Supporters Posted July 2, 2014 Sounds like you need a Viper ubac. Sleeves are long and padded.
Adam3088 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Just measured the arms of my British army issue MTP ubac, sleeves came in at about 24" for medium.
BrightCandle Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I don't know about the medium buy my Viper UBACS has really long arms, at least 25" (its hard to measure perfectly as there is no shoulder seam). Monty 1
Andrew147 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks Ill have a look, thats the issue 24inch is just below my wrist and when i raise my arms they are half way fore arm
Andrew147 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Just had a look at a popular website for miltary gear. Viper ubac are 24inch aswell M. Large is 25inch. But it will swamp me
Andrew147 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Ill see if I can pop to a store that sells it and try it on. It depends whether it is inseam or outer seam
Adam3088 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Mate of mine who's a lanky git wears (what I think is) a surplus shirt, doesn't keep you as cool as a ubacs but I think there's more choice in sizes. The one he's got must have at least 26-27" sleeves but isn't a massive size. Andrew147 1
