Guest Imanairsofter Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I need a spring that will give my gun an FPS of around 320, this means I can play at my local CQB centre. what should it be , M90 M100 ext??
Happy Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Usually m90 springs will give ~295 fps and an m100 will give ~325 fps, so it depends on how much leeway your site gives over that limit. For example some sites list 328 as their limit but have a tolerance up to 350, any gun even .1 fps over can't be used. Because of this I always choose m90 springs for my rifles as it's comfortably within most site limits even if I sacrifice that extra fps boost.

I'm currently running an M95 in my M4 and it hits consistently at 345fps. Actual muzzle velocity depends greatly on how good your air seal is. Airsoft_Mr B 1
Airsoft_Mr B Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 M90 means 90 M/S, so ~ 295 FPS. An M100 = ~328 FPS. As Lozart said though there can a big difference in actual velocity. You could alternatively cut down your existing spring to reduce power.
