Jacob(smooth) Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 This is probably a really retarded question but I'm going to ask anyway. I have a few guns which take 7.2volt batteries. What would happen if I stuck a bog standard 9 volt battery (like the one you get in a smoke alarm) in? Would it smash the gearbox? melt? catch fire?
AK47frizzle Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 depends on the discharge rate just buy a 9.6v battery for RC cars and make sure it has the same connector and you'll be fine, unless you have a lpeg oh wait, you have lots of lpegs.... nvm... you'll wreck them Jacob(smooth) 1
Jacob(smooth) Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 lol. But they're so much FUN!!! Ok, so it will make the gears run too fast and break them then... Next project is to try to take a switch from a motion sensor and rig it to a broken down lpeg. Motion sensing gun!
Jacob(smooth) Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 What if you put a 680 ohm resistor in the circuit?
