Cheeky vimto Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Hey all I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to airsoft so be gentle . I'm looking at sticking a MOSFET on my gun. I don't want a fancy one, I just want it to save my trigger contacts with a lipo (that's what a MOSFET does right?). Googling mosfet shows up a land mind of different types. The one I'm looking at is the hamsterfet. It seems simple enough to fit. Has anyone had any experience with it?
Supporters jcheeseright Posted August 12, 2014 Supporters Posted August 12, 2014 if you're just after something simple to bypass your trigger contacts then the hamsterfet is a solid choice, pretty straightforward to install and very low profile.
Cheeky vimto Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Well looking to improve ROF and thinking I'll be needing a lipo so would this be enough?
Supporters jcheeseright Posted August 12, 2014 Supporters Posted August 12, 2014 it'll protect your trigger contacts and 7.4v LiPo will give a little boost to ROF if you've been using 8.2v NiMh.
Trojan Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 +1 on the Hamsterfet. Good stuff, get it from pets at ak2m4
