jeffery7466 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Since the VCRA forbids importing of RIFs without a defence, and not parts, I guess it would be possible to break up a whole gun into parts and send them from overseas to here. Though admittedly, you'll be asking for trouble if you do that. However, what about sending guns over here that are sold already in parts, e.g. PTW Challenger kit?
Supporters jcheeseright Posted September 23, 2014 Supporters Posted September 23, 2014 legal to import for sure... however you're then committing the crime of manufacturing a RIF when it arrives and you put it back together.
Airsoft_Mr B Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Individual parts aren't a problem. I'd recommend you just get a defence first and save yourself the hassle though.
Deek Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 But if you are a skirmisher and attend a site on a regular basis or have some other way of verifying your defence then you are OK.
Supporters Richard65 Posted September 28, 2014 Supporters Posted September 28, 2014 It is so easy to qualify for UKARA if you are over 18 - why would you want to find ways to get around the rules?
