halfsack2691 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I've recently started collaborating a few bits to make a pirate loadout, not going for full on Jack Sparrow (probably more Blackbeard). Anyone ever used a KTW flintlock pistol or KTW flintlock carbine? Any reccomendations? Anyone ever seen a suitable cutlass type sword that I can get away with using for melee (only have a real one at the moment and no idea why but the marshalls strongly object to it) And is it acceptable to be sh*tfaced on rum at games? Supporters Popular Post Rock-climby-Dave Posted September 29, 2014 Supporters Popular Post Posted September 29, 2014 Grab an AK with an underfolding stock, hawian shirt, old life vest and some ripped up shorts. Hold said AK above your head and let out occasional bursts of automatic fire. Go what I like to call 'Full somali' and it'll be a much more realistic pirate loadout than some flintlocks Plus, a lot easier to source the parts to make the loadout. cropzy, DEF, TacMaster and 3 others 6

TacMaster Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 A fake Manchester United or Chelsea shirt works as a good substitute too. If you want inspiration, watch Captain Phillips DEF, team flex, Rock-climby-Dave and 1 other 4

DEF Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Don't forget the gold tooth and carefully applied patches of rust on the AK.

Russe11 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Shoot and scoot does a handful of Flintsoft guns. http://www.shootandscoot.co.uk/shop/paget-carbine/ Paget carbine looks quite cool. I am guessing its based on a pump action shotgun with the cocking system connected to the ram rod. I would be tempted to try and make a moscart launcher Blunderbuss JamesAirsofterAgent 1
Chock Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Shiver me timbers matey, it be a LARP (live action role-play) sword ye'll be wanting. Ye can find 'em for about thirty pieces of eight, less if ye search about the Spanish Main (or possibly the interweb) me lad. Yarrrrr, tis made of latex, so ye'll not be sending anyone down to Davey Jones Locker with her: http://www.southernswords.co.uk/high-seas-cutlass---pirate-sword-3603-p.asp halfsack2691 and Airsoft_Mr B 2
