Doma_Tassi Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Hello! I have a Cyma M14 AEG airsoft gun. But it doesn't work. The motor doesn't make any sound. I've looked the wires with an digital multimeter and i realized the power doesn't reach the motor. The photo is showed. The red circle is where i got power and the green is where not. What is the problem? How can i fix it? Thanks for helping me!
Supporters Lozart Posted September 29, 2014 Supporters Posted September 29, 2014 If you get no power at the green circle even when the trigger is pulled then your trigger contacts are busted. Doma_Tassi 1
Doma_Tassi Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Is it difficult to fix it home or I have to buy parts for it? I hope You understand what I want to say.
Supporters Lozart Posted September 29, 2014 Supporters Posted September 29, 2014 You will probably need to buy a new trigger switch or contact plates for it (I don't know what type of switch mechanism that gun uses). Should be quite easy to do if you can find the right parts though. Doma_Tassi 1
Supporters Samurai Posted September 29, 2014 Supporters Posted September 29, 2014 Yeah, as Lozart and macko-ricsi said. Check the contacts and if the trigger moves the moving part at all. You might have to remove the outer assembly of the gearbox, which is not exactly a simple thing on an M14 but if you keep an eye on the little springs (including the one in the safety switch) you should be fine.
Doma_Tassi Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 I took apart the left side of the gearbox. The end of the trigger switch is sooty, if i clean it part, it will work again?

Doma_Tassi Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 I cleaned it and it works! I use the original battery which is an Ni-Cd and it has got 1200mAh 8.4v. Thanks for your help! Lozart 1
