ikarma70 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hi all, I recently bought a dboys aks74u and it's a good gun but the hop and barrel let's it down so I have bought a lonex hop unit and a lonex tightbore 6.03mm barrel however I forgot the rubber. What's the best rubber for performance and price? Many thanks Andy
TheGrover Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Ive not had a lot of experimenting, but a madbull blue 60 degree rubber works wonders with my ICS SA80. If you get the red one it comes with a H nub rather than a standard one, which again worked wonders for me

Youll want to find somewhere you can both: take apart your gun to fit the new rubber/nub AND test fire the gun, at least 20m. When installing a H nub, it can be hard to set, resulting in a spin tgat sends your BBs off to one side, so it might take a couple of tries. And when you do find a place, make sure that nobody can see you with an assault rifle and call the ARU, else you may be in for a surprise
AK47frizzle Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 The Madbull blues are very good, the red one AFAIK is for higher FPS setups, like in the region of 400s.
