Videos section

I'm sure there's probably a reason for it, but why is there no section for members to share their airsoft related videos, if it's a separate category, then memebers can create a topic for say a gameplay video from the weekend and people can view and comment there on it.

I guess it'd meen the mods would have to watch them all to make sure nothing sordid? As long as it's all youtube lilnks and nothing uploaded directly can't see any issues. Perhaps simply hasn't been enough people with go-pro's until recent years to merit setting up this forum section in the past.

We had one when we first started, but like you said it wasn't used enough so we removed it to trim the excess crap and keep the forums running smooth.

 

Would be an idea to set one up one though, just a case of waiting for Dev to resurface as he's the admin

For the time being, perhaps a pinned topic somewhere for videos to be posted?

Still not convinced that it would see wide enough usage, it's not like you see video threads flooding general discussion.

 

A lot of people post their's in the "Media" category regardless of it being in off topic.

We could have a single thread where people can post their videos and others can comment instead of a dedicated section

Is it significant effort to setup or a drain of resources to have it anyways? Can't hurt right?
