Cheeky vimto Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Have anyone used MAG mid caps? The seem reasonably priced but are they reliable?
CES_williamson Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 i used them for a long time, they are cheap as chips and work quite well but after a while they get a bit worse but for the price they are worth it, just make sure to add a very small amount of oil to the springs in them every 10-20 games, it kept mine going longer than friends! BrightCandle Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Feed perfectly in all my guns. So far I have had 2 out of the box of 8 jam up and need cleaning out but the Sandpit will do that to a magazine. They are plastic, they don't have a follower so you get what you pay for but they are robust enough and they feed 0.28G BBs just as well as 0.20g and all in all I have been surprisingly impressed with them since they were recommended to me last summer.
Supporters NickM Posted March 21, 2015 Supporters Posted March 21, 2015 I have a love hate relationship with them. I'd put it mostly down to the human in the equation though. I have 2 of the 190 metal mags and one 130 plastic. Every so often they develop serious feeding problems, but this seems to be as much to do with them getting dirty (again the sandpit seems to be my mag killer, so I need to look after them better), over filling them causes the springs to bind. The other issue seems to be bb related, the zero one bbs I bought 10 bags of are sh!t. They seem to be less slippery than the Devil blasters, (the surface is a bit more matt) this seems to cause them to bind in the tube which stops them feeding properly.
Supporters Monty Posted March 21, 2015 Supporters Posted March 21, 2015 Anyone tried the asg brand? Very good magazines. They fed flawlessly in my Classic Army M4 and my Star L85.
Cheeky vimto Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Very good magazines. They fed flawlessly in my Classic Army M4 and my Star L85. For a few quid more I might go with these then.
