straffham Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Which make gearbox is it? Ares and ZCI use standard size microswitches used in the electronics industry for donkeys years and cost next to nothing. Suggest you take your microswitch to your nearest electronics/tv/fridge repair shop or Maplins outlet, it will be loads cheaper than an airsoft retailer too.
Supporters SeniorSpaz87 Posted April 11, 2015 Author Supporters Posted April 11, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions guys; Trigger and I worked it out (I think). I'll update y'all when my connectors arrive; I'll do a complete rewiring of all parts and hopefully it will work.

Supporters SeniorSpaz87 Posted April 11, 2015 Author Supporters Posted April 11, 2015 Or something similar oh well, it's a good learning opportunity for when I do have a problem. Now that that's all sorted, should I get a fuse and/or MOSFET? And what do you think about the fet I linked to a few posts back? I like the idea of adding a burst to it, but I don't really want to get into anything too heavy duty.

Mosfet is worth it to protect your trigger just get a Gate pico or a nano aab relatively cheap and reliable. If you really want one with burst control check out the spectre mosfet. Just remember to get the best out of a mosfet you might need to change motor and gear ratios to get a really quick fire rate on semi which is what most people are after.

Now does a MOSFET replace a fuse? And the burst was just a cool feature; it's probably a good idea to leave it for now.

Lonex A1 with 13:1 gears, well worth it. Burst control is nice but can't you just tap your trigger on full auto? As I said earlier, hamsterfet was easy enough install and I think it was only £15. Glad yon sorted it anyway, That's what the forums are for!
