Jaggardos Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Basically my gun was running fine, then suddenly during a game, it acted as if the battery was beginning to die, I mean it quite quickly decreased in ROF. So I tried a spare fully charged battery I had with me and it did the same thing instantly when I pulled the trigger, as if the battery was low on power. Tried the same thing with several other batteries, not just mine, with the same results. Anyone had experience with this issue or know what could be the issue, going from full ROF, instantly decreasing to a slow crawl.Batteries I was using were lipos and I have a PicoSSR mosfet fitted. Probably should note it was raining on the day too.
Baz JJ Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Have you dried the gun out and tried it again since, to remove that possibility ?
Jaggardos Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Had to lend it out as a film prop so not yet. I can see that probably being a cause. Will be the first thing I try
Supporters Sitting Duck Posted April 12, 2015 Supporters Posted April 12, 2015 contacts or brushes in motor starting to fail ???? only a guess but as said dry it out - if not try another motor ?? process of elimination but "could" be motor's brushes worn perhaps - well maybe
Jaggardos Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Problem solved.Opened up gearbox to find it was bone dry of grease. Cleaned and regreased cylinder and gears and now it works fine. Sitting Duck and Lozart 2
