freshage Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I'm looking for one to do a CQB with near me. I would ideally like a full metal body and decent gearing as I don't want to be faffing with it. Ideally battery, although gas is always welcome. I've seen these: http://www.socomtactical.net/airsoft-guns-knifes/professional-airsoft-guns/sub-machine-guns/cyma-mp5k-high-power-metal-airsoft-aeg.html http://www.socomtactical.net/airsoft-guns-knifes/professional-airsoft-guns/sub-machine-guns/asg-bt-mp5k-pdw-value-pack.html But unsure which is the better in terms of manufacturing. Any advice?
Colonel Kurtz Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I thought ASG was re-branded CYMA, so they'll prob be the same apart from one having a flash-hider and stock. I looked at getting MP5K and would have either gone for the Classic Army for metal, or TM for plastic. It's another gun TM to a high-cycle version of so yet again that's where my vote goes! Supporters Lozart Posted May 14, 2015 Supporters Posted May 14, 2015 Having seen and handled them both I'm pretty sure the ASG isn't the CYMA. It feels a lot more like the CA one to be honest. I bought the CA version so I could have the A3 non ambi fire selector.
EPICllama Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I would tell you to go for the Tokyo Marui MP5K, but obviously it's plastic. If that's not a huge issue with you, this gun is my favourite gun of all time. Check out my channel if you want to see what it's truly capable of. This is where I bought the gun: http://www.airsoftworld.net/tokyo-marui-hk-mp5k-high-cycle-airsoft-smg.html Good luck finding one. I love MP5s. dEFCONairsoft 1
dEFCONairsoft Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I've got an umarex mp5 and the cyma one, both awesome guns!
Happy Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Can second the TM high cycle MP5K - a lot of fun. That said the rate of fire isn't going to be a factor as most CQB sites are semi only. Still a fun gun though. EPICllama 1
