spraythemag Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Hi Guys After reading the rules of this website, to my understanding it is okay if I can just introduce my website. If this is not allowed, please do accept my apologies and I will delete this right away I run a small website, specialising in more beginners equipment and two toned airsofts. I am aware this forum has some of the best in the game, but perhaps for any newcomers can find the website useful. Really our selling point would be our dedication to customer service. We also try to have reasonable prices. www.spraythemag.com Thanks Faris
RiseOfTheDerp Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 So, from what I see, you are like BBGuns4less... But less sh*t? And a much, much better website. You're going to have a purchase from me in about 20 days I love mystery boxes and such. I'm going to buy a Basic (because I'm poor)I actually really like your website... It looks so clean and tidy, and it's so easy to navigate Airsoft_Mr B 1
Airsoft_Mr B Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I don't like how there's another 'JBBG-esque' retailer. I can appreciate the attempt to differentiate from them though. With the bad customer service people have received, and other practices like overpricing from such companies -not to mention actually lying and using false advertising- the majority of the proper airsoft community are gonna probably stay away especially when there are many other competitors in the market. The new players who come here we generally try to point them towards getting a quality AEG that will be a much better long term investment. I like the idea of mystery boxes but doubt demand will be high as realistically who's going to want to pay £90-£150 for a silver or gold pack and not having an idea what they're getting? IMO would be better with pricings of £20/£50/£80 dependant on quality and quantity of items, speaking of which maybe add to the description of it a bit. DX115FALCON 1

Well, as you mentioned we are trying to differentiate. From personal experience, we have seen that competitors (that don't cater to pro's) have poor customer service and aren't very much invested in providing value. We are aiming to really give value for the airsoft enthusiast that doesn't have much money to spend, yet would like to enjoy the game. Thanks for your time Airsoft_Mr B 1
Hef Legend Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I'm always up for hearing of new retailers, the only problem you have is that most people recognize that customer service in the UK for airsoft is terrible, bar a few well established retailers. Consider how poor customer service is in the UK, most people will be more than happy to make purchases outside of the UK. Plus 80% it a lot cheaper. I immediately looked on your site, found a gun, then checked an non UK company and found it for 30% less and thought. Either way customer service is likely to be poor, I may as well save the 30% and then spend it on upgrades once I get it. just to clarify I'm not saying your customer service is bad, just pointing out a common trail of thought. You can blame p$$$ poor UK companies for it, no names mentioned. Samurai 1

Which is why we are passionate about what we are doing. About the pricing, UK laws do make it a bit harder to meet US pricing. Thank you for your time.
Hef Legend Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 You should look to Europe rather than Asia/US. The item I found was in Europe, 4 day delivery and no tax. I'm aware that they also do trade accounts with UK companies. On a side note, you may of seen on here, but someone called "EipCLlama" has joined this forum (now banned) and another forum (probably going to be banned soon). He has advised people that he is in partnership with your company, offering up a discount code etc. Sadly he has been abusive to people on the forum and generally rude, hence being banned. It may be a good idea moving forward to avoid having children promote your company as he has done a bad job and most people will now think of him and his attitude when your name comes up. spraythemag, Monty and RiseOfTheDerp 3
Supporters TPI Posted May 25, 2015 Supporters Posted May 25, 2015 Seriously Do not have Kids running promotions, Its bad enough to draw me back to this forum which means it is all kinds of BAD & Off I Flop before I get enraged by the kiddies as of the olden days! RiseOfTheDerp Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Ironically, EPICLlama has made me not buy from you guys, so, well done.
BobTheAirsoftGuy Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 This is EPICllama. I put this account together quickly, because I wanted to apologise. I cannot reply to my original post because it is locked, so I have to do this here. Before you stop reading this, I know people are angry with me and I have acted in a bad way, and I am sorry for that. I cannot reply to the other topic because I was banned. I would like to apologise to everyone involved. I haven't been myself lately because of personal reasons in my life, that I won't state. We all make mistakes and I recognise the fact that I made them. I want a positive reputation for myself, but I understand that this isn't about myself because I am not a selfish person. I would like to apologise to spraythemag for representing their website horribly, and I feel that I have learnt a valuable lesson here. I can safely say that nothing like this will happen again. Some people reading this will understand what I'm saying, and others will still see me in a negative way and I understand that. However, I believe many things in this world and one is forgiveness. Second chances. I want to individually apologise to Hef Legend, Proffrink, RiseOfTheDerp,(amazing name!) and anybody else I may have missed out. If a moderator could paste this into the topic so that people involved can see my apology, that would be great. Again, I am sincerely sorry for my actions, and everyone involved. - A very sorry Llama :/ Esoterick, Colonel Kurtz and Sitting Duck 3
Popular Post Mack Posted May 27, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 27, 2015 Takes balls to admit you were wrong, welcome back, no hard feelings, bygones be bygones and all that shit Sitting Duck, RiseOfTheDerp, Esoterick and 2 others 5
Hef Legend Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Me and Llama have already spoke, alls good. RiseOfTheDerp, spraythemag, Sitting Duck and 1 other 4
Colonel Kurtz Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 As with any outburst on the internet most people seem to be entertained rather than offended so don't worry about it. Kudos for coming back, takes balls! BobTheAirsoftGuy, Ian_Gere and RiseOfTheDerp 3
BobTheAirsoftGuy Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Thanks man. This account is pretty dumb, I think I will make EPICllama2.0
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted May 28, 2015 Supporters Posted May 28, 2015 Airsoft is a game/sport/hobby of honour, so it's good to see the same ethos overcoming the usual internet phenomenon of people falling out with one another, gobbing off in a way for which they are later embarrassed, and disappearing into the anonymity of the aether never to refer to the incident again. We discourage chopping and changing of usernames and multiple accounts are forbidden (it's hard enough to maintain a functioning community online without trust being damaged by people wondering to whom they are speaking), so if you do wish to have a different handle Bob, by all means open a new account, but stick to the one.
spraythemag Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 Hi guys I know the site didn't get the best publicity when I first posted it here. But I see A LOT of complaints here on the other threads about lack of customer service. I started this business on the basis of providing 100% QUALITY customer service! I would truly appreciate any feedback on the website. Thanks!Faris SPRAYTHEMAG
Root Admin proffrink Posted July 5, 2015 Root Admin Posted July 5, 2015 Is the 7 day refund period from the purchase or delivery? Perhaps needs clarifying on the 'contact us' page. spraythemag 1
