Dannn Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 After a few second burst on full auto when I release the trigger there's a klonk.... I know it could be anything but any ideas, could it be the piston just returning ?
Supporters Samurai Posted June 28, 2015 Supporters Posted June 28, 2015 Define klonk. Preferably with a video. The piston returning after releasing the trigger is a small "clack". If the anti-reversal latch is missing then it's a longer sound as the gears move the motor.
Dannn Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 I'll do a video tomorrow, bestvnot give it fully auto at this time !
Dannn Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 The clonk after auto it's hard to make out on video trim.5B93FA56-AF9C-486E-8BDA-A5A2B4D2C799.MOV
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted July 1, 2015 Supporters Posted July 1, 2015 nothing to worry about and relatively normal. Not entirely sure what causes it (and I'm not going to try an work it out in this heat), but common on a lot of lower-low/mid end AEGs Josh95 1
Supporters Samurai Posted July 6, 2015 Supporters Posted July 6, 2015 Everything is fine. That sound is because your bevel gear has 4 teeth that the anti reversal latch can catch into and when it starts to reverse, it can move a bit until it catches. If you want to get rid of it, there are bevel gears with 6 or more of those teeth.
