Sacarathe Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 /me buys mag storage for 16 M4 mags (two separate platforms which I have no intention of using simultaneously) and then discovers these. Crye Precision Magclips (£25/3 in the uk) The knock offs are £2.5-£4.5. Has anyone used these for airsoft ?
Supporters M_P Posted July 17, 2015 Supporters Posted July 17, 2015 They look all well and good for use on the range or if you're the sort of player to stand around a lot but if you get stuck in I'd expect you'd get a lot of dust and crap in your mags joshcowin 1
Supporters Lozart Posted July 18, 2015 Supporters Posted July 18, 2015 I'm sure the magpul ones work well but a knock off for £3 will very probably break about as quickly as any other cheap piece of plastic. Mack 1

Mack Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I can't find them. Think Loz has mixed Magpul up with Crye

Josh95 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I wouldn't pay £20 for a piece of flimsy looking plastic that only holds one mag

Sacarathe Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 It's a piece of plastic made by crye. It won't be flimsy. Think I might buy some for those super light CQB days. But for now, got a battlebelt and PC incoming.
joshcowin Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 seems very pointless imo good for on a range but bad idea for combat doesnt look the fastest to reload
Supporters Lozart Posted July 19, 2015 Supporters Posted July 19, 2015 seems very pointless imo good for on a range but bad idea for combat doesnt look the fastest to reload How so? It's no slower to lift a mag off your belt than out of a pouch. Mack, Monty and ImTriggerHappy 3
joshcowin Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Because you have to press the male clip out of the female then put it in your gun
Popular Post Mack Posted July 19, 2015 Popular Post Posted July 19, 2015 Because you have to press the male clip out of the female then put it in your gun Not sure I understand? The clip is attached to the mag, the 2 "hooks" slip into molle webbing or your belt, prety simple stuff. MZKaleem, Monty, Lozart and 2 others 5
Supporters Lozart Posted July 19, 2015 Supporters Posted July 19, 2015 Because you have to press the male clip out of the female then put it in your gun It's a hook clipped on the bottom of the mag. There's no male/female it just hangs in molle or on your belt. Airsoft_Mr B 1
