heymanostrich Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Hey Guys, There has to be someone that knows this but I am 14 and getting into skirmishing. I want to buy a RIF. I have a junior UKARA licence. Could my parents use this to purchase me one as a gift? Thanks, Ostrich
Supporters Sitting Duck Posted October 18, 2015 Supporters Posted October 18, 2015 NO - to be placed on ukara database a person must be 18 and skirmish a few times a year..... just the way it is I'm afraid - they your parents can buy/gift you an IF 2-tone if they are not ukara'd or a RIF if THEY are on ukara..... Supporters Qlimax Posted October 18, 2015 Supporters Posted October 18, 2015 It's a Defence not a license and no they can't. If one of them had UKARA themselves they could buy a RIF and gift it to you otherwise no. Sacarathe and Monty 2
Sacarathe Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Who's running this scam? (I guess it's more likely a site offers junior OR Ukara membership for 18yr olds, but the OP failed to appreciate the distinction?) Hopefully anyone who finds this thread the first hit on google for "junior ukara" will read past the first post's faulty affirmation. Monty 1
Supporters Popular Post M_P Posted October 18, 2015 Supporters Popular Post Posted October 18, 2015 I have a junior UKARA licence. Someone's screwed you over, there's no such thing. Airsoft-Ed, Monty, proffrink and 2 others 5
