SteffoBoy87 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Hey all its been 10 years since I have been to any airsofting even and now I will be starting from scratch! UKara has been introduced and this is new to me! I have been given a few guns as presents and now I am looking to get my UKara membership within the 3 months and 3 games. My question is as I have no UKara membership at the moment will I be rejected from playing with my own black rifs at any airsoft site! Or must I go 2 tone in order to play for my membership?
Guest PT247 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 UKARA has nothing to do with ownership, only to do with selling. The offence ia to sell a rif to someone who has no defence for owning one, it is not against the law to own rifs
Head Moderator Jedi_Master Posted October 28, 2015 Head Moderator Posted October 28, 2015 Find a site you like, play your 3 games there in no less than 2 months to get membership (or whatever their rules are) - defence sorted. You can then apply for UKARA if you want.
Randymanpipe Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Did you bother applying to join the Ukara database jedi??
Head Moderator Jedi_Master Posted October 29, 2015 Head Moderator Posted October 29, 2015 No, I still have not sent the UKARA form off to UACP to get it stamped (they do not have the stamp at their sites on game days) and then submitted to a retailer. I will get around to it eventually. On the plus side it stops me being tempted with buying guns from abroad, although on the downside it stops me buying guns from abroad. Randymanpipe 1
SteffoBoy87 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Really appriciate your responses and has cleared up a few things for me! Just really looking now to get started and settle into it for the long term ?
SteffoBoy87 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 I would definitely will be applying for UKARA membership as there are a few guns I'm after and I refuse to have them two tone as it won't do them justice ?
