CrumpsRAWR Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Title says it all, I have a mosfet coming which is to be hard wired, and I know a high torque motor of some sort is required? But is there any way to get the trigger response while keeping a high speed? If not, what do I need to do to achieve? Thanks.
Supporters Lozart Posted February 16, 2016 Supporters Posted February 16, 2016 Decent hard wired MOSFET, hi torque motor, re wire with decent gauge wiring (most guns come with too thin a wire), replace your battery connectors with genuine Deans connectors and try to keep the number of connections in the path to a minimum. LiPo batteries are also a safe bet as they can deliver a higher surge current than NiMH batteries. If that's not snappy enough then you can start to look at lower ratio gears, dual sector gears and all that hi speed jazz (Sitting Duck can tell you ALLLLL about that - at length).

CrumpsRAWR Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Hm, think I'd rather stick with electric if I'm honest - good for all weathers! Thanks for the tips though Loz, I'll look into that stuff. Lozart 1
