Alex0405 Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Alright guys Bit if advice needed. Firing my g&g combat machine m4 today going fine, suddenly slows down and now only fires semi when you pull the trigger twice ( one pull, pulls the piston back, next pull releases it) and fires semi on auto.... Thinking its a trigger issue, going to the shop tomorrow and going to get a Perun V2 Optical Drop in Mosfet anyway. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and replacing all the wring and upgrading to this mosfet will solve the issue. Thank you in advance
EDcase Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Sure its not the battery that's become too weak? Alex0405, Rogerborg and Nick G 3
Alex0405 Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Just now, EDcase said: Sure its not the battery that's become too weak? Fully charged 11.1 lipo
EDcase Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Oooh, 11.1 in a G&G combat machine ? Can't say for sure if its related but I don't think its a good idea to run a standard AEG on 11.1 Good luck with it ? Alex0405 1

george1976 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Sounds like something needs a lot of work to turn those gears, either battery or it needs maintenance?
EvilMonkee Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 (edited) Not a massive AEG user but I would question the need for a mosfet in a G&G Combat Machine....... Edited November 26, 2021 by EvilMonkee Nick G 1

Well, you don't need a mosfet in any AEG. Even if you're running 11.1V and concerned about arcing, the cheapest mosfet will run you more than two new sets of trigger contacts. The X-ASR in my Specna is coming out, it's only causing me trouble with aftermarket motors. Nick G and EvilMonkee 2

Actually, where did we get the idea that this G&G has a mosfet? The basic CM16s don't, as far as I know, and then we get microswitch triggers which seem to come with their own set of... opportunities.
Nick G Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 I think OP is planning to fit one. Not a single mosfet in any of my aeg's just more bloody tech to go wrong ! EvilMonkee and Rogerborg 2
Alex0405 Posted November 28, 2021 Author Posted November 28, 2021 Works perfectly now, new mosfet controlled by an app great little thing and a black friday deal aswell well worth it Rogerborg 1

EDcase Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 (edited) Think of it as an investment since it can be transferred to a new purchase in the future... Edited November 30, 2021 by EDcase EvilMonkee 1
