M2 Sport magazine release catch

Hi, Just took the plunge and bought M2 Sport, all still very new to myself! However very impressed with it  - easy to strip, seems robustly made etc....but the mag release catch or the magazine seems to be abet unpredictable, sometimes it releases fine but other times it doesn't. You have to kind of wiggle it then with a fair bit of force it releases. 

 

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
