Pillow Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Just got the FAMAS Evo AEG from Patrolbase. When I tested it, the gun would still fire semi-auto when the rear safety/fire selector was set to 'off' (safe). Took the cover off - I'm new to AEG's, but am I right in thinking there's something missing here? It looks to me like there's no selector plate (hence no electric cutoff contacts) at all.
mirinjawbro Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 i thought the famas selector switch was under / near the trigger?
Pillow Posted March 22, 2022 Author Posted March 22, 2022 The cybergun model has 2 safeties - a trigger block lever that also unlocks the battery compartment, and a rear switch that selects semi/full auto and *should* also connect the contacts for the electric cut-off. But this is the bit that isn't working.
