This might be useful to someone, I Recently bought a CYMA CM.045 AKS-74U and just wanted to share that Its possible to add a B&T tracer unit with a 1" barrel extender and HFX 212 grommet from Halfords, which means you don't need to cut 2-3cm from the inner barrel and lose any range

Or switch to a shorter but tighter barrel, a 247mm one will sit flush with the 14mm CCW threads while keeping the power up.
