emilianoksa Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 The hi capa is heavy because of the metal frame, the 1911 because of the metal grip inserts, and the M9A1 because of the grip inserts and a metal weight on the inner barrel. What accounts for the weight of the PX4? It is one of Marui's heaviest pistols.
Schnitz Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 I'm not entirely sure but the plastic is very thick around the grip, I think there's most likely weights in the grip
emilianoksa Posted May 11, 2023 Author Posted May 11, 2023 That is true of all TM pistols. But the PX4 is still considerably heavier than a TM Glock, Sig, HK or M&P.
Piman Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 The 2 part inner chassis and hammer spring housing look to be significant lumps of cast metal. James
Asomodai Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Considering it's one of my smaller pistols, there is a fair amount of weight in pistol itself. I think the weight is evenly distributed between the pistol and the mag. The lightest pistol I have sans Mag is my FN5-7. Even with the Guarder kit, it's incredibly lightweight. The mags are CHONK though, so it makes sense.
