Chappie4933 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Got a brand new Cyma XM177, every time I plug in a battery it beeps at and the gearbox cycles/ it fires, on safe and single shot it fires once, on auto it continues to fire until the battery is disconnected. Anyone know what the issue is and how/ if this can be fixed Thanks
Asomodai Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) Sounds like the Mosfet is knackered. Or there is a short in the wiring. Edited May 22, 2023 by Asomodai Rogerborg 1

Did you buy it recently? If yes to both, stick back in it's box and send it back under warranty. Don't dick around trying to fix it yourself. Tactical Pith Helmet, Rogerborg, Hudson and 1 other 4

Chappie4933 Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 Yes brand new out the box, no i haven't attempted to do anything to it myself. Yes it's a UK retailer, waiting to hear back from them Rogerborg and Speedbird_666 2

You don't need any help from us - let the retailer sort it out. Good luck - I hope it gets sorted in a timely manner. Rogerborg 1

Well, that, but as above, it's not your problem to figure it out. Don't let them fob you off, or start billing you for anything, including postage. If necessary you can reject it and claim your money back. Speedbird_666 1
Cannonfodder Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Definitely send it back and don't accept anything less than either a replacement at no extra costs or a full refund. Let us know how it goes as IMO how a shop deals with problems after a sale is a better indicator of how good their customer service is than how a customer is treated before the sale is made Speedbird_666 and Rogerborg 2
Majestyk Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Are you trying the battery that it came with (assuming it did)
