gavinkempsell Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Was watching one of Rifleman Moore's YT videos' when I had an urge to muck about with my Ares L1A1, F^*K ME... I'd totally forgotten it was an airsoft rif, I'd convinced myself it was a replica. Guess what's getting sighted in & crono'd tomorrow after work??? DJsnipe, EDcase and Colin Allen 3
EDcase Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 Yeah, mine works really well. I tend to prefer shorter arms but its cool to use the L1A1 sometimes gavinkempsell 1
Colin Allen Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 Mine gets a regular run out; it works well now that I have reworked the internals, including modifying a standard steel COL to replace the original soft cheese one. gavinkempsell 1
gavinkempsell Posted July 14, 2023 Author Posted July 14, 2023 (edited) I'm not planning on using it at a game day but I'd prob wear my pattern 58 if I did. Edited July 14, 2023 by gavinkempsell Colin Allen 1

gavinkempsell Posted July 14, 2023 Author Posted July 14, 2023 Well just had a 'play' with it & it's a tad over powered for my local site, it ranges from 421 - 450 fps... just as well it's a semi auto. Tackle 1
EDcase Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 That perfect for a DMR as long as its locked to semi only Tackle 1

Colin Allen Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 It is locked to semi unless you buy the full auto selector. gavinkempsell 1
