"sticky" slide

Hello all

 

after long waiting my WE glock18c has now got new mags, silencer adapter and tracer unit

 

after firing a few rounds completely random the slide gets stuck half way and stops firing. the outer barrel also stays forward outside the rest of the gun and after repeated firing makes the outer barrel look longer and longer outside

 

 

after fiddling around i then installed the original barrel and the same thing.

 

i've not used this gun in years and it definitely did not do this before.

 

the slide feels "sticky" when racking and firing so wondering what it could be

 

ive tried some full auto empty mags to loosen everything up but still the same problem

 

any ideas?

Have you cleaned and oiled the gun at all or is it bone dry?

sadly the problem is the "new" threaded barrel adapter.

 

have cleaned and lubed it all up  (and the gun)

 

and the original barrel works fine.

 

i always did find it a strange fit when putting the inner barrel into it. it always felt stiff and like it didn't go as far as it should. annoying

Sadly most aftermarket parts aren’t a clean drop in fit. Especially the ones on the cheaper side.

Is there any wearing on the outer-barrel? (can you see if the slide might be rubbing on the outer barrel)
