Sewdhull Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Anyone used short mags? Particular the 240ish round double mags. Anything to note, other than lower capacity?
Impulse Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I've got a bunch of the 65rds mid caps and they're great. Really good with an mp5k to keep the weapon profile incredibly small.
Supporters Lozart Posted January 8, 2024 Supporters Posted January 8, 2024 I've used the double mag high caps, they're OK. The dummy bullet slide on the second mag can be a bit sketchy and the winder goes front to back (where most go back to front) so that can catch you out. Otherwise, yeah good.
Sewdhull Posted January 8, 2024 Author Posted January 8, 2024 I like the idea of the shorter mags, I don't have any at the moment. I see the shorter double type but none close enough to justify the shipping charges.
Cannonfodder Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 (edited) I've got one of the short double mags and found it's the only MP5 high cap I've got which feeds consistently. 53 minutes ago, Lozart said: and the winder goes front to back (where most go back to front) so that can catch you out. Is that a new thing? Mine is quite old and the winder goes from side to side. Edited January 8, 2024 by Cannonfodder Auto correct strikes again Rogerborg 1

Don't think so. I've had mine for years and I got them second hand from a buddy. Maybe it's just a specific brand? Cannonfodder 1
